A Journey to the Heart of Ella

Our family has always been drawn to the allure of mountains, and the promise of stunning views and cultural richness led us to the charming village of Ella. Nestled in the heart of Sri Lanka, Ella is a paradise of hills, offering a perfect blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage. As we embarked on the Ella Mountain Village Tour, we were eager to explore the famed Ella Gap, Little Adam’s Peak, and the iconic Nine Arch Bridge.

The day began with a thrilling ziplining experience at the Flying Ravana Adventure Park. As we soared over the lush green estates of Ella, the kids’ laughter echoed through the air, and the breathtaking views of the hills unfolded beneath us. Hiking Through History and Nature

Reaching the summit of Little Adam’s Peak, we were greeted with a panoramic view of the Ella Gap. After a delightful lunch at a local restaurant, we embarked on a tuk-tuk ride to the Nine Arch Bridge, a marvel of engineering and architecture. Known as the “Bridge in the Sky,” this massive structure stands proudly amidst the lush greenery, its nine arches creating a stunning visual spectacle.

Standing beneath the bridge, we marveled at the ingenuity of its construction, built entirely of solid rocks, bricks, and cement without a single piece of steel. The kids were intrigued by the story of its creation, and it was a perfect blend of education and adventure.
