Nine Arches Bridge - The Nine Arch Bridge, also known as the
Bridge in the Sky
was constructed by connecting two bog mountains when constructing the Badulla
Colombo railway. This bridge is 300 feet in length, 25 feet in width and 80-100 feet in height. It is one of the best examples of colonial-era railway construction in the country. Great day out , made nicer by professionals - Kandy to Ella with stops at Falls, Tea factory, Gregory Lake and Nine Arches Bridge.
Our driver, Hathi, was so knowledgeable, patient and accommodating.

Nuwara Elia trip. - On 17-3-24, we had our nuwara Elia, Ella and little Adams peak, etc. trip. The guide-cum-driver was Kushan. He is an intelligent, jovial and fraternal guy and explained the sightseeing views excellently and in such a manner as if we were friends for long. Really Mr. Kushan is an asset to your organization. I wish him success in life. Thanx.
