- Basílica de Santa Maria - The visit begins at the main door of the Basilica of Santa María de Elche, a jewel of the Valencian Baroque. Next we will climb to the top of the bell tower and contemplate spectacular views of the palm grove, a world heritage site, as well as the city of Elche and its surroundings. Until we reach the attic, we will rest in the 4 rooms that are enabled. Finally, we will visit the Basilica of Santa María, where the Mystery of Elche (15th century), a world heritage site, is celebrated every year.

This visit includes a trip to the bell tower of Santa María, accessible to everyone. Four rooms are passed before reaching the attic, each room portrays the history of the Basilica of Santa María, the Elche Mystery and the palm grove. We will explore the Basilica of Santa María, the stage for the Elche Mystery, which was honored as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001. We will shed light on its unique attribute as the only evidence of medieval theater in the world that is conducted within a church.
