Fantastic day if wine, food and history - We had a fantastic day with Belen on our tour. She was very knowledgeable about the island, its history, and gave us lots of ideas of things to do and places to visit, on top of providing a fantastic tour. Everything was pre-arranged by her so it was a very efficient day moving from point to point. The wine tasting was great and the lunch was amazing. Highly recommend!

Food and Wine Tour Puerto de la Cruz - We had a great time on this tour. Our guide Belen was fantastic and very knowledgeable friendly and courteous. Taking time to share information and history of the island as we were driving between stops. The wine tour was great very interesting and we tried some really lovely wines. Food in the Guachinche was amazing. On the way home Belen took the time to show us La Orotava and share the history and pictures of her favourite festival The Corpus de La Orotava which would be lovely to come back and experience. A thoroughly enjoyable experience and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again when we’re next here on the island. Thank you Belen and thank you Gloma travel.

Absolutely perfect! 100% recommended - Absolutely perfect! Belén was the best tour guide I’ve ever had! We went to a winery with a tasting session where the tasters were full glasses of wine 🥴 then Belén took us to a local restaurant in the mountains that only had locals there where we feasted! We are so much that we skipped dinner. After this Belén took us (outside of the tour) on a little trip around her home town that was hundreds of years old and absolutely stunning. She was packed full of local knowledge and went well above and beyond. I can’t recommend this enough. The best tour we had, ever!

Fantastic Cultural Experience ! - We had the most amazing day with our fantastic guide Belen. We got to learn and see so much of the Island during the tour. The Monje wine tasting was very informative and we got to try different wines from the region. The highlight of the trip was our visit to the Guachinche where we got to sample some local dishes which were delicious. We stopped at several view points along our journey where we got to take photos and enjoy the landscape. Belen was an excellent guide and we got to learn so much from her about her knowledge of the island . I would most definitely recommend this to any food / wine lovers who would like to learn more about the island during their stay there !

Do not miss- experience culture and history through food and wine - This is a do not miss tour! Wines and AMAZING food- we were so full we didn’t need dinner or anything after the tour. Money well spent. Miriam was a delightful, energetic, passionate, educational host. We had so much fun learning about the history and culture as it is seen through food and drink. We loved learning about the food and wine and even more loved tasting it!!! A perfect day and we can’t thank Miriam for sharing her passion of food and culture with us. 10/10 would recommend.

Couldn’t ask for a better experience - Our guide, Fernando, was very good and knowledgeable, anything he didn’t know he researched while waiting for us. The museum stop was worthwhile, being informative and setting the background of local wine making in context. The winery tour at bodegas Monje was very good. Ari, our guide was very good and answered all questions, she had a good background in wine production even though she had only worked there for a few months. She also helped us through the wine tasting, a relaxed experience, again she told us what to look for as we tasted the wines. Our only slight disappointment was the meal. However, as an experience of a local restaurant (guachinches) serving traditional food it probably filled that remit.

Nice guide, poor food. - Our tour guide Miriam was fabulous and we enjoyed our trip with her overall. 😊Unfortunately the Guaguinche was poor service and poor food, hence only 4 stars. If it was the Guaguinche alone, only 2 stars... 😕

Great Guide, lunch location could use improvement - Indira was a fantastic guide. She spoke excellent English and in addition to the pre-planned events drove us to see some great ocean views. The winery tour was fun and interesting, although the tasting could have been done in a shorter time. The lunch spot was talked up as a being a classic family restaurant of the island. The food was OK to good, the wine was not, and we didn't end up getting dessert. But the location and the state of the restaurant itself would most kindly be described as "rustic". We had had such a fantastic lunch at a place we stumbled upon in Lanzarote the previous day that perhaps that colored our thinking. Nevertheless I would suggest finding something a bit more upscale as a lunch spot for the future of this tour.
