Giza Pyramids & Sakkara & Memphis & Dahshur

Pyramids of Giza - Your guide will pick you up from your Cairo hotel to visit the incredible Giza Pyramids, including the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. You’ll also see the majestic Sphinx, featuring a pharaoh’s head on a lion’s body, dating back to the time of Chephren, and visit the Valley Temple associated with the Pyramids of Chephren.

Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Next, we visit Saqqara, home to the world-renowned Step Pyramid of Djoser, the oldest major stone structure in the world.

Mit Rahina Museum - We then travel to Memphis, founded by King Menes who united Upper and Lower Egypt. Here, you can view the Statue of Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx of Memphis.

Pyramids of Dahshour - Dahshur is a notable royal necropolis in Egypt, featuring the famous Red and Bent Pyramids of King Sneferu. The Bent Pyramid, named for its construction flaw, was the first built, followed by the Red Pyramid, which gets its name from the color it turns after rainfall.

Alexandria Tour

Pompey’s Pillar - Your professional guide will pick you up from your Cairo hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle to transfer you to Alexandria. The first stop is Pompey’s Pillar, constructed in honor of Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century.

Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa - Next, drive to visit the Catacombs, the largest Roman cemetery with three levels cut into the rock.

Kayetbai - After a lunch break, visit the Qaitbay Citadel, built on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world.

Bibliotheca Alexandrina - Finally, visit the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a major cultural and library center. After this fascinating visit, you’ll be driven back to your Cairo hotel in comfort and safety.
