Leaving the Roman marvel behind, we ventured into the heart of Berber culture in Matmata. The troglodyte houses, carved into the earth, offered a glimpse into a way of life that has endured for centuries. I was welcomed with warm Berber tea and local delicacies, a gesture of hospitality that resonated deeply with me. The simplicity and ingenuity of these underground dwellings were a stark contrast to the grandeur of El Jem, yet equally captivating.

Our day concluded in Douz, the gateway to the Sahara. As the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the dunes in hues of gold and crimson, I opted for a tranquil camel ride. The rhythmic sway of the camel and the vast expanse of sand created a meditative experience, a moment of serenity amidst the adventure. Desert Glamping and Oasis Wonders

The night in Sabria was nothing short of magical. Glamping in the desert, with the stars as our canopy, was an experience that transcended the ordinary.
