Encounter the most quintessential, breathtaking, and memorable hiking experience in southern Patagonia. The trip to Laguna de los Tres is a must-visit in El Chaltén.
The journey will include a variety of landscapes, ranging from lush forests to austere terrains dotted with water pools, leading to Laguna de los Tres.
The initial stretch of 4 km serves as a warm-up, offering stunning views of the Valle de Río de las Vueltas, while crossing through woodland and brooks until we reach Laguna Capri.
From there, the route continues along the same path until km 8, where you will find Camping Poincenot and the Rio Blanco.
The most challenging segment of the trek begins at Camping Poincenot. During this phase, it is crucial to monitor the time, as it would take nearly 4 hours to descend back into town from Laguna de los Tres.
