Additional Information

Our journey encompasses a road trip along the Costa Blanca, progressing into the mountain range of Alicante. The transition to a strikingly divergent landscape is marked by a natural frontier just a stone’s throw away. This historic place saw the emergence of an Arab warrior, a legend weaved into the origins of the Moors and Christians festival. Villages like La Nucía, Polop, Callosa d´en Sarriá, Benimantell, and Guadalest seamlessly blend into the environment, appearing to sprout from the mountain itself. Our first halt is at Polop de la Marina, remembered for being Gabriel Miró’s preferred summer retreat. Authentic and local, we will sample water from its natural wellspring. Moving forward, we head to Guadalest, acclaimed as one of Spain’s most delightful and frequently visited spots. Our journey concludes at the Fuentes del Algar, a collection of picturesque pools and waterfalls providing solace with their refreshing coolness. The tour ends as we return from these springs. It’s advisable to wear comfortable shoes. Swimwear and rock-appropriate footwear are optional, should you wish to dive into the fountains.

Great Half Day Tour - Ivan was great. He was very friendly and informative and had good easy to understand English. His van was comfortable. As it was a private tour we spent more time on some parts of the planned itinerary and a little less on others to suit us, which was perfect.

Algar Fountains - The place is beautiful, perfect to spend the day with your family or partner, having a blast with the fountains, the ice-cold water, bringing slippers for the rocks there. Recommendable.

Fab visit - Enjoyed our tour yesterday with the lovely woman. 100% top communicating with us and everyone else on board the coach. She gave us great detail about what to expect, what to do once we go here. Explained about the restaurants the key to the loo is customer use only which I think Is fab. Once you’re done you have to put the key back. She explained the prices of most places, did her very best to help everyone out with their visit. Her knowledge of the trip was fab. If you get the chance, go into the MiniMarket book there it was €55 for 2 of us. 10:05am coach time. 5:30pm back at the hotel. Was a long day but was great to have a tour of places we hadn’t been before and the weather held up great for us!

We had a great time! - Many thanks to Ivan for taking us to this tour and for all the wonderful stories! We truly enjoyed our experience. Despite the Waterfalls turned out to be more crowded than we expected, we returned to Alicante city with positive emotions only. Can recommend Ivan to everyone! Would only leave one note about the reservation process itself: we were not sure until the very last moment that the tour would happen since we did not know if there were only two of us or some more persons. So communication or the tour description could be improved.

Excellent and very professional tour guide - Our guide, Ivan, picked us up promptly from a pre-arranged spot then drove to collect two more people. Ivan was extremely knowledgable and spoke about many points of interest during the journey. His driving also felt very safe despite a rather impatient female trying to get into the road space we were occupying at one point. Ivan pointed out many items and buildings of interest and shared lots of historical information with us. He was always happy to answer questions when asked. Our rendezvous points and times were made clear allowing us the best use of time at each stop.
