An experience like no other! - If you are looking for an adventurous excursion during your time in San Diego, look no further! We've done Jeep tours before, but never found one that you can drive the Jeep yourself...until now! We were able to Lyft out to the meeting point no problem from downtown San Diego. Angelo was out and ready to go when we arrived and we started promptly! We drove out to the Otay Mountain Wilderness Area and did the intermediate level - we have only a small amount of off-roading experience and this was perfect. Angelo guided us on the walkie talkie around each section and we made lots of pitstops to take pictures and see the views. We got great views of San Diego and Tijuana and a thrilling offroading experience. I can't recommend this experience enough - you won't find anything else like it!!!

Fun for All - Angelo was our guide. He was very informative and funny. He cares about the area and respect the land he is able offer the tours on. Everyone in our group had a great time. Definitely recommend this tour to get a different view of the area.

Such a THRILLING experience!!! - We did the Intermediate Tour. AMAZING sightseeing and the off-shoots that Angelo took us in were AWESOME!!!

Amazing Adventure Up and Down the Mountain - We had an amazing time and highly recommend the trip. My wife and I had one vehicle and our guide Angelo had his. It was the perfect balance of private, social, and fun. He would radio us when something cool was coming up or point out points of interest. We made stops at beautiful overlooks getting to see San Diego and Tijuana. We took the Intermediate and it was just right for us. The wife wasn't too scared and I got to drive through some awesome terrain.

Fun and Excitement off the Beaten Path - We wanted to do something fun and off the beaten path, and this experience was just that. What a terrific time we had. We road through the mountains with fun terrain and breathtaking views. Angelo, the tour guide and company owner, was wonderful in every aspect (professional, informative, patient, funny, etc). He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and having a good time all throughout the tour. We chose the intermediate tour, and having no off-roading experience, we did just fine. We had a tremendous amount of fun. The SD Zoo and Belmont Park are fine (we did those, as well), but this tour was the real highlight of our vacation. We highly recommend it.

Enjoy the mountains in a Land Cruiser - Great day going up and down the mountains by the Tijuana border. Angelo was a great host and guide, we drove slightly modified Land Cruiser 100 series. The vehicle was well-maintained and was a blast driving offroad. The cabin was cool and comfortable, and got a thumbs up from my wife too.

Great for ALL skill levels! - Such a fun and safe adventure! Angelo, the owner, is a great guide and has awesome Landcruisers that are purpose built for these trips! Angelo was able to tailor the route to our skill level and what we wanted to do and see! Highly recommend this for families and anyone who wants to see a different side of San Diego and Southern California!

Absolutely amazing and highly recommended - This is a family business run by a veteran. Angelo is amazing and takes his time at multiple stops of the tour and kindly answers all questions
We took the beginner tour and in retrospect I wish I had taken the intermediate tour with a little more technical driving.
He provided us with fresh water
Overall highly recommend this activity, and it is definitely something off the beaten track

Awesome and totally worth the money!! - I chose the advanced tour. In that tour you go over a section that only one car can do at once. You are shown the line to take and directed through it. It was a lot of fun. The rigs they use are very capable.
