After a lunch break, the tour continues with a visit to the WWII Cemeteries, located west of the town on a small peninsula overlooking the sea. These citadel-like cemeteries are the final resting place for Commonwealth, Greek, Italian, and German soldiers. The tour concludes with a drive back to the hotel.
