Ek Balam and Cenote - My partner and I had an amazing time on our tour with Ximena. She was engaging and fun to tour with. Learned a bit and got to experience a wonderful part of Mexico.

Ek Balam, a must.....Cenote in XKokay - Had a great experience, the driver Kenny and tour guide Ana Perez were amazing. Full of energy and great source to learn about the Mayan culture. We were served a mid snack, but was more like a pre-lunch teaser, with a sandwich, chips and drinks. During the tour, water, snacks and beer were unlimited. We returned on time. I would recommend this tour, just bring sun protection, and the best was to be able to climb up the temple in Ek Balam. The site is not an big as others, but the information and experience make up for it. I can't say much about Valladolid, I had been there before....so it was meh, plus there was a protest, and strike during our tour, Not that it matter, but the only highlight is a Church. What did it....was to experience the Cenote in XKokay...

Pick this excursion - Amazing excursion. Small group of 9 on the trip, which was an absolute blessing. Mario was personal, he was full of information, and beyond helpful in every situation and question. 10/10, I’d go on a tour of a septic field with that dude. Taking to him about things other than the excursion proved my gut right, he’s a really good guy as a person as well as a tour guide. Nancy, she was a saint. A SAINT! They make a really good combo for excursions. We’ve been on more than a few excursions with Cancun adventures and this was by far the most fun and informative for those people like me who want to know why. My only negative aspect of this was Valladolid. Beautiful place, just far too many people wanting you to come with them for their stuff. Not relaxing at all, stressful. Would have rather stopped somewhere among the many small villages along the way.

Mario Rdgz Gato made this trip even better! - Every place we went to was unique, but our guide Mario Gato made the experience even better with his knowledge, positive energy, and humor! We were so lucky to have him! Being able to climb the ruins, swim in a cenote, and immerse ourselves in Mayan culture and rituals was amazing! And lunch was so delicious! Highly recommend this tour!

A hidden gem - Since we‘ve visited all the world famous mayan sights before we where very delighted to find a trip to an unknown place - Ek Balam, which means star jaguar or black jaguar in mayan language. This and many other interesting facts we got to know from our amazing guide Ivan who showed us this place at early daytime. Absolutely worth to get up at 5:30 am to avoid the heat and the other tourists, we‘ve been there almost alone! You still can climb up the Acropolis, a beautiful view awaits you! Cenote swim is absolutely refreshing after the hard workout! We also visited Vallodolid for a short stop but enough time to see the main square and the church. Tour was very good organized, we were spoiled with delicious sandwiches and soft drinks that we didn‘t expect. Ivan and our driver Santiago did a great job, graçias amigos!
