Worth trying once, but not something I’d do again - The crew was cheerful and eager to please, but overall the experience felt a bit like a production line. The transfer was fine, although we had to ask for the air conditioning to be turned on. Upon arrival at the marina, we were seated and told to wait, without much information. I wasn’t sure how or when we’d be called, so I just kept an eye on the people I arrived with (strangers). There was a toilet on the yacht, but everyone had to use the same pair of flip-flops to go in, which felt unhygienic. A photographer took pictures, and then another person approached to negotiate prices — no obligation to buy, but the whole process felt a bit pushy. The dinner was average — not bad, but nothing special. I’m sure the food at the hotel would have been better. Also, eating with the plate in your hand wasn’t very comfortable. The magician was fun, but I felt a bit sorry for the belly dancer, and the singer seemed disconnected — they just did their part and moved on. Overall, it’s an experience worth trying once, but not something I’d repeat.

Opporunities for improvement - While on the one hand the staff was great and did everything to make an enjoyable evening, the program had some weaknesses. First, it was not a cruise, we went about 100 meters from the port and stayed in this distance during the whole program, after which the ship has covered the same 100 meters back to the port. The music was extremely loud, as the music of 3 nearby ships - each of them wanted to be louder than the others. The program contained 2 types of dances, but only the bally dance show was on program, we missed the slowdance.

Heads up you have to take... - Heads up you have to take your shoes off upon getting on the yacht and the floor was cold so heads up so you're not walking around barefoot. The food was ok, small portion sizes for a buffet and they serve the food. No alcohol. And they spend a lot of trying to sell you photos that the photographer has taken of everyone. The magic show was good.

Waste of money - The whole trip was geared towards locals, which is fine, except the tour was marketed towards an international clientele. There were only five British tourists on the trip. No English was spoken throughout, only Arabic. We didn’t have a clue what was going on! The only English was spoken we were asked if we’d like a drink, we chose 2 pineapple drinks, and subsequently was charged $30 !!!! Which was quite a shock The entertainment was dire. A singer who only sang songs in Arabic, and have never heard off. He was garbage. Then the belly dancer, she was terrible, very poor. She only seemed interested in dancing for a group of single men at the back of the boat, as they were slipping money into her costume. You can guess which bits!! There were children present on the boat, not really appropriate. Finally the magician, hopeless. The tricks were ancient, a child could have performed them better. The meal which was included was inedible, a tiny piece of soggy undercooked fish, a kebab which tasted revolting. There was something in a grey batter but to this day I don’t know what. The only thing we ate was the salad and a piece of bread. All in all a complete waste of money, if you don’t speak Arabic I think you will find the trip disappointing.
