Great Egypt Experience - Ra is a cool dude! We were accompanied by him for four days during our trip in Egypt in October 2023. It was so great to have him by our side and give us explanations (especially for the kids it was great to have those in German) and insights to the history and to guide us to most important places in the vast amount of things to see (incl. picture service ;-).

The best experience in Luxor! (Japanese) - I'm Japanese, and he guided me around Luxor. The guide was very kind, and although he doesn't understand Japanese, he explained things in simple English so that Japanese people could understand. He's also very knowledgeable about history, so even people who aren't familiar with history can enjoy it, and he was full of little tidbits and anecdotes about Luxor, so I never got bored! By the time I left, I was able to read hieroglyphics, and it was all thanks to him! I'll definitely ask him to guide me again the next time I come to Egypt!

An Egyptian history learning class like no other! - First things first! Ra is the best tour guide I’ve ever had in any country I’ve been to- period! If one needs a guide- there are about 15,000 of them in Egypt- but if one needs a guide who knows ancient Egyptian history in and out- then it’s Ra. You can name any Pharoah and he will tell you which dynasty or Kingdom the pharoah belongs to and the story. Any hieroglyph, by that I mean ANY hieroglyph- he will decipher it for you. Any relief or carving- he will tell you the history and the gods that they represent. Such was the depth of his knowledge- I was truly impressed. If one is truly passionate about learning the ancient Egyptian civilization with all its gods, monuments, temples and hieroglyphs- then I don’t think one can find a better guide than Ra. I highly recommend him. For all practical purposes, I think most of us would visit Egypt once in our lives- why not make it worthwhile with a guide who can make it special. A truly fantastic experience and if I were to ever go back to Egypt- I would pick Ra each time!

Excellent personal tour guide of ancient Egypt!!! - Ragab was a fantastic tour guide. He was very knowledgeable of all of the remarkable ancient egyptian sites that he took us to. He is very polite and understanding of our tourist habits. He took us to excellent local restaurants and kept us provided in Coca-Cola, lol. He even invited us into his home for an authentic Egyptian meal prepared by his wonderful family! RECOMMENDED!!!
