Continue your journey to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, constructed by the queen herself, Thutmosis I’s offspring, who presided over Egypt for nearly two decades in the 18th Dynasty (circa 1490-1469 B.C), being the sole female pharaoh to rule ancient Egypt. Along the way, observe the Colossi of Memnon, remnants of Amenhotep III’s funerary temple. Proceed to the east bank of Luxor where you’ll savor a meal at a local eatery, before proceeding to the venerated Karnak Temples, a profound symbol of divine veneration, consecrated to the deity Amon, his consort Mut, and their progeny Khonsu.
