Great day in Scotland! - This was an all day adventure! Sterling Castle was amazing! So much to learn. Afterwards we ventured to Loch Lomond and enjoyed the stunning views. Onto to the distillery where again you will learn about whisky making and proper tasting. Then onto to view the amazing Kelpies! The weather was perfect. Our guide was Warren and he was full of knowledge as well as entertaining us with music and wit! Great day overall.

A wonderful experience! - We had a lovely time with Experience Scotland's Wild on the Stirling Castle, Whisky & Kelpies tour. I would highly recommend spending the 20 pounds to get the guided tour of the Castle - it was super informative! The place is incredible. The Whisky tasting was a lot of fun and great distillery with a fantastic guide. The Kelpies are pretty incredible to see up close. This was a fun tour and Cameron did a great job getting us around safely and efficiently and filled with knowledge.

Fantastic Day Out, Even Without the Highland Cows - We had a wonderful day on this tour with Cameron, who was an excellent guide—knowledgeable, engaging, and full of great stories that made the journey even more enjoyable. Stirling Castle was a highlight, packed with history, and the stop at the Kelpies was truly impressive. The Scotch tasting was also a real treat and added a nice local touch to the day. The only downsides were that we didn’t actually travel into the Highlands, just admired them from a distance, and I was hoping to see some Highland cows up close but unfortunately didn’t get the chance. Still, Cameron’s guidance and the mix of sights made it a memorable experience overall.

Economical, stress free way for the time poor traveller to see more of Scotland than just Edinburgh - Great way to spend a day exploring Scotland when you’re time poor and based in Edinburgh. Great service and small number of guests made it a stress free day

Could do better - Not enough time at Stirling Castle - add an hour and suggest getting lunch there to eat later. Hike around Loch Lomond was dangerous - no mention of this degree of climbing in description. Idea - order pub food to be ready when you get there. I think I could have hired a driver to do the same trip. There was no advantage to having a tour manager as we had to purchase tickets to castle and distillery. Overall, I would suggest that others try to do this on their own.

The pick up area was too... - The pick up area was too far from the Royal Mile area which is where all the people who signed up were staying. Had to take a taxi or Tram to get there, which made an early start even earlier. On route to castle was informed to buy castle tickets to avoid line. This was very difficult to do. Should have been done day or two prior to the tour. There was not sufficient time to look at the castle. We took the guided tour ( which was excellent) but then only had 15 minutes to view inside castle rooms and try to grab something for lunch. There was no set lunch stop or enough time for it. Loch Loman was a boring nature stop. Whiskey tour was very informative with enthusiastic guide and well worth the entry fee. Kelpies were interesting but no guide, no information on meaning of statues. Tour driver was very accommodating but did not have a lot of knowledge on history etc. on some of the tour stops.
