Great tour guide - The guide was very informative, introducing the story of Scotland along the way, and even the music he played was related to Scotland. At the same time very humorous. This trip was very full and happy. Full return of ticket price.

Icy and treacherous but fun and informative - Absolutely great day. Plenty of stops along the way with great commentary and local knowledge from our guide Graham. The pies at our first stop were delicious (Ben thought I dropped ½ of mine before finishing it!!). We loved Glenfinnan Viaduct although the snow made the paths a little bit treacherous! At this time of year I would recommend maybe seeing the highland coos at the beginning of the day as when we got there it was dark, cold and rainy.

Best day trip - Despite spending many hours on the bus, our guide Hugh made it very enjoyable and fun. I would highlight his ability to advise us on how to make the most of our time at the different stops, his humor, and the stories he told us while driving. I couldn't help but shed a tear when listening to some of them and the songs Hugh accompanied them with. In addition, he always tried to give us as many stops and as much time as possible to enjoy each of the places. He even took us to see the sunset and Ben Nevis, which was spectacular. You can tell he loves his job, Scotland and sharing his knowledge and passion with his travelers. I would have liked more time to walk around Glencoe, but since it was a day trip, I understand that it wasn't possible. We will definitely do it again when we return to Scotland. Great day trip!

Hugh is the best! - Went on this tour with my mom and from the get-go we knew we were in for a treat! Our tour guide/driver/friend for the day Hugh was the absolute best!!! He shared so much history and local lore. He also treated us with some bagpipe playing for a truly one-of-a-kind experience. Hugh kept us entertained with plenty of jokes and chill vibes! He also gave us so many recommendations for other Edinburgh activities. All around great day trip.

A grand day - Our tour guide, Craig, provided a very enjoyable day trip to the highlands. We got to experience all that the Scottish weather had to offer. Somehow it was an amazing day. While in the winter you don’t get to experience the train at the viaduct it was still worth the visit. The sites were beautiful and stunning views. The highlight for our family was the hairy coos for sure. Make sure to buy some feed to entice them coos to come say hello.

Highlands tour - Nice tour for those who are in Edinburgh and also want to admire the landscapes outside the city, Alex our guide was nice and prepared the notions also historical were very interesting although due to a strong Scottish accent I missed something, maybe I would have avoided the visit to the coo's that was held in the dark since we were back and in a farm

Beautiful but lacking authenticity - Graham, our tour guide, was patient, calm and a great storyteller. Thanks Graham! Our experience on this tour was relatively positive. However the highland cows stop was a bit of a disappointment. This stop was the definition animal tourism and I am embarrassed that I fell for it. There were many bus loads of people all gathering to see and feed only two cows. It was dark and cold outside, making it difficult to navigate and see the cows in such a small space. When I booked this tour, I was under the impression that the cows would be in a more natural habitat setting, not a tourist trap. This unfortunate experience really took away the authenticity of what we hoped we would see.

Tour was very long but Highlands are worth it - The day was very long, perhaps too long for me. It was advertised as such so I knew what to expect but the drive back was boring and everyone was tired. The tour itself was ok…some stops I felt were unnecessary. The meeting of the Coos was kept at the end of the trip which meant it was pitch black and you were trying to squeeze a photo with 20 other people. I felt bad for the Coos that were getting flash in their faces. That was very disappointing. Cost was comparable to other tours I saw online. I absolutely think it is worth visiting the Highlands, whichever parts you can go to, it was beautiful with rich history.

Transfer vs Tour… there is a difference - I want to rate this tour higher because overall it was okay. Our tour guide was great, the van was wonderful the viaduct was stunning. However, I felt as if this was more of a glorified transfer/taxi than a tour. We had several stops along our route but I felt as if there was no real “purpose” behind the stops we made beside the viaduct. If you are really looking for an out and back transfer then this is what you need.
