Great tour and experience - This 3 day tour was brilliant! Our driver Stephen was great with the History and stories for everywhere we went and very helpful in anything that we needed. The whole trip was amazing just like the scenery and there are loads of stops in between locations to take in the local beauty spots. I highly recommend this tour. This is my 3rd tour with the hairy coo and as always you feel like your travelling in luxury as the buses are always clean, well kept, plenty of space, modern and the seats are so comfortable.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | The Ultimate Scottish Highland Experience! - My mum and I just returned from the 3-day Oban, Mull, and West Highlands tour, and it was the absolute highlight of our trip. Our guide, Stephen, was world-class. His deep historical knowledge and captivating local stories turned every stop—from the ancient mysteries of Kilmartin Glen to the cinematic Glenfinnan Viaduct—into a living legend. The itinerary is a perfect "best of" Scotland. We saw it all: the towering Kelpies, the serenity of Luss on Loch Lomond, the rugged beauty of Glencoe, and the colorful charm of the Isle of Mull. If you want a stress-free, immersive, and truly fantastic way to experience the soul of the Highlands, look no further. Highly recommended!

Freddie Johnson Tour Guide Extraordinaire - We did a private 2 day tour of the central highlands. Freddie Johnson was our tour guide. Freddie provides exceptional commentary, music and discussions while touring. He has a delightful sense of humor and outstanding driver. Every bit of our tour experience was memorable. I will ask for Freddie as tour guide if I am blessed to return again to Scotland!

Ask for Freddie! - Ask for Freddie ! My wife and I took a trip to Scotland in 2023 and did a 5 day tour. We were fortunate enough to go with Freddie then and had a great time. We had such a good time in fact that when we returned to Scotland last week with my parents along that we booked a private 2 day tour and asked for Freddie again. I cannot overstate the point of ask for Freddie. He is absolutely the most amazing guide you ask for. He is knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He guides tours because he loves doing it. Your trip will have an amazing playlist of tunes he curates with a Scottish connection or of Scottish music. Take any tour you like and The Hairy Coo will deliver you a great experience, but ask for Freddie to take it to the next level.

Unforgettable tour of the Scottish Highlands! - We had such an amazing time on this trip! Our guide Stephen was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We learned a lot about the history of the area and the views were stunning. We also were able to get out of the bus frequently to explore the sights. I had actually done a Hairy Coo tour way back in 2010 (the year the business started); the tour back then had left such an impression that I made it a point to book another tour with them when I came back. They did not disappoint! Highly recommended!

Dreams bacanas nightmare - I chose this specific tour because I am not fluent in the language and trusted that a guide would not only drive but also provide support, so it was a disappointment. Her name is Louise, and she drives an orange bus. She is actually from Scotland but did not make a real effort to be understandable. Worse, when she talked with someone not fluent in English, she made no effort to understand them. I demonstrated many times that I did not understand the instructions, and she had no patience to repeat them. At one point, we stopped at a castle, and I said (again), 'I don't understand what we have to do here.' She just said that it was not recommended to buy tickets. I understood that there was a 25-minute parade, so I used that time. When I returned, she was already about to leave. My husband ran to the bus, explaining that I have knee problems, so I cannot run. Then, she came to me and started yelling at me in front of everyone. It was so embarrassing; the rest of the passengers barely enjoyed the last attraction. After this, I give up to any interactiom
