• The Kelpies & The Helix - Departing from Edinburgh’s New Town, the tour leaves the city’s hustle behind, embarking on a scenic day trip through Scotland’s breathtaking landscapes, rich history, and finest whisky.

Early in the journey, the tour passes by the Kelpies, the impressive 30-meter-high sculptures of mythical horses, and Stirling, a symbol of Scottish royalty and history.

• Stirling - The tour continues past Stirling, once the capital of Scotland. Be sure to catch the iconic views of the Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle, one of Scotland’s most significant and grand castles.
• Deanston Distillery & Visitor Centre - The first stop will be either Blackness Castle or Deanston Distillery, depending on the chosen option.

If the distillery option is selected, the tour heads to Deanston Distillery - formerly a bustling cotton mill, this historic site now produces exceptional single malt whiskies.

Enjoy a guided tour through the distillery to discover the traditional whisky-making process and the intriguing story behind this unique location. Conclude the visit with a tasting of Deanston’s finest whiskies, introducing the rich flavors and distinctive character of their offerings. Alternatively, enjoy a stroll by the River Teith or relax in the distillery’s Coffee Bothy.

• Blackness Castle - The first stop will depend on the chosen option; if the Castle option is selected, the tour heads to Blackness Castle.

Please note that Blackness Castle is closed from 29.09.25 to 19.10.25. During these dates, an alternative stop will be made during the Castle option at:
29.09.25 - 06.10.25: Linlithgow Palace.
07.10.25 - 20.10.25: Doune Castle.

Explore Blackness Castle, a formidable 15th-century fortress dramatically situated on the Firth of Forth. Known as “the ship that never sailed” due to its distinctive shape, Blackness Castle has served as a royal residence, garrison fortress, and prison, offering stunning views across the water. It may also be recognized from the TV show “Outlander,” where it appeared as Fort William.

• Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park - Not far away and still within the Trossachs National Park, a short stop is made at Loch Achray, a smaller yet equally picturesque loch nestled between the towering Ben A’an and Ben Venue mountains. The area around the loch is serene and peaceful, providing another opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Scottish Highlands.

No Scottish adventure is complete without a visit to the iconic Hairy Coos—the legendary Highland cattle. Stop for photos and enjoy the charm of these furry giants that are synonymous with Scotland’s countryside.

• Forth Bridge - As the tour returns to Edinburgh, travelers will be greeted with views of Scotland’s greatest engineering feat, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Forth Bridge. This 19th-century engineering marvel was once the world’s longest cantilever bridge. Today, it stands alongside the 20th-century Forth Road Bridge and the 21st-century Queensferry Crossing, which opened in 2017. Three spectacular bridges, from three different centuries, span the Firth of Forth, connecting the capital city and the Kingdom of Fife.
• Edinburgh - The journey back to Edinburgh begins, carrying memories of Scotland’s historic landmarks, serene lochs, and breathtaking natural scenery. The aim is to return to the Scottish capital in the late afternoon, around 5 PM.

Any time not specified in the itinerary is dedicated to traveling between stops, exploring Scotland while on the coach.

• Loch Katrine - The tour ventures deeper into the heart of the Trossachs to Loch Katrine, a stunning freshwater loch. Known for its tranquil beauty, Loch Katrine was immortalized in Sir Walter Scott’s famous poem “The Lady of the Lake.” Admire the beauty of the Scottish landscape and relax by the peaceful waters, surrounded by forests and mountains.
