But the process involves more than simply lighting a fire beneath your cauldron: you’ll encounter a series of riddles and obstacles that will put your wizarding skills to the test. Conquer the escape room-style game, collect all the necessary components, and master the art of potion-making to earn your diploma from the School of Magic.\n\nCreate gigantic slimes that stretch up to one meter, explore ingredients that shift colors and emit smoke, and partake in a variety of other magical experiments. When the session concludes, you’ll get to take your potion with you, allowing the magic to live on even after you’ve left!

It’s vital for every sorcerer to master the fundamentals of magic, which include spell casting, runecraft, and undoubtedly, potions. To hone your alchemical skills, enroll in our Edinburgh School of Magic, nestled in an ancient cave just behind St Giles cathedral—a location shrouded in mystery for hundreds of years since the Great Edinburgh Fire, and illuminated solely by candlelight.

Drinks and fun - We had a great time mixing our own potions. Good drinks and lovely people,. We were served by Lauren, Bex and River and had a fantastic time here!

Fun DIY drinks - We had an absolutely amazing time at Magic Potions Tavern. The atmosphere was great, the diy potions were entertaining and the drinks were amazing. The ‘bar elf’ Lauren was extremely accommodating to our situation and was fantastic at presenting the drinks. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be going back!!
