Brilliant afternoon gin making! - A really excellent session and thoroughly enjoyable. Neil was a very entertaining and knowledgable tutor for the session, whose experience and expert guidance ensured that we all left having created the gin we wanted to make. Mixing our own botanicals and using the copper still was a great experience and the guidance and advice from Neil was first class.

Group Gin Making - We did a group gin making class with 5 people and it was amazing! Gary was able to figure out how we could all create one gin as a group, which was great since we were all traveling and smaller bottles were needed. Neil, our gin guide, was amazing! He was so funny, quirky, informative and helpful. He gave so much information about gin and helped us all learn what our gin preferences were. I would definitely book this experience again for a group!

Great fun activity - Such a great activity - Neil was very knowledgeable and helpful, but, more importantly, great fun! Really enjoyed the gin making experience and would highly recommend!

Want to feel like a mad scientist and have a cocktail? - Really enjoyed distilling my own gin. What a unique experience! You get to bring home your own gin to enjoy, sip, and reminisce of your travels. It won’t last long, guess I’ll have to go back to Edinburgh! 🍸

Fantastic creative gin distilling experience. We couldn't of asked for more. - From booking to the grand distilling, we couldn't of asked for more! Neil was incredibly helpful sorting dates and times to suit our party. We booked it as a birthday treat and we certainly weren't disappointed. We had such an amazing time and learnt so much. Neil was gin-tastic, a real entertainer! We came away having created our own concoctions, helped along by Neil's incredible knowledge. We highly recommend this experience and we will be returning to try the rum experience shortly. Top marks ☺️

Fun evening - Neil is a gem! - Had an amazing time with Neil on our Rum distillation session. Neil is so knowledgeable about the origins of rum, teaching us a lot about it's history in a fun and interactive manner. It was also really nice to have to opportunity to sample all the different flavours we could infused into our rum, along with Neil's expertise. In the end we had a really enjoyable evening and got a great tasting rum out of it! Definitely would do another visit for gin distillation - Neil was an incredible host!

Bespoke gin creation - My sister and I attended the Cumberland, sipantics gin creation master class. Neil was our gin flavour guide, gin guru and all round great entertainer. We had delicious gin cocktails, an informative talk about gin and the process it goes through, expert help with the many, many botanicals we could choose from and combine before creating our own bespoke bottle of gin. Great fun, great value and we've got a delicious, custom made bottle of gin to enjoy too.

Unforgettable Unique Experience - This experience was worth every penny! Neil was very knowledgeable and his fun, witty humor made the information very digestible for a novice like myself. It was exciting to select various botanicals to create our custom bottle of gin. Neil was able to walk us through flavor profiles to help create the perfect blend. This was one of my favorite activities during my time in Edinburgh. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting.

Fantastic experience - This was bar far one of my favorite travel experiences ever! The instructor Neal was knowledgeable, fun, filled with history & cocktail knowledge. The class flew by & ended with a bottle of gin that was exactly what I’ve been searching for. I would do this class monthly if I lived here! Highly recommend to anyone looking for something unique & entertaining (and the guy makes a fantastic drink so you really can’t go wrong!)

GinTastic way to spend the day - What a brilliant way to spend an afternoon! Neil's warm welcome set the scene. His passion knowledge and enthusiasm were contagious! I learned so much about different types of gin the history and botanicals. Then made a very delicious bottle. Enjoyed an amazing gin cocktail made by Neil the guru of all things gin related. The time flew by! Great fun. Highly recommend this small business. Go and support them. Such a different and interesting way to spend a few hours.
