Wonderful spooky tour - This was a really well-done walking tour for only taking about an hour (which was ideal for a 10pm start) and involved a few quick and amusing stops along the historic Main Street before arriving at the underground vaults. Ally was an excellent guide. The path is a bit steep and slippery at various points, so wear boots with decent traction. Great way to get a sense of the vaults without committing a ton of time and money!

You learn a lot about professional torture...😬 - I liked it very much eventhough I hoped for more "terror" and expected to be scared more. But now I know that it's not about scaring us, but telling the real and terrifying history of the vaults in Edinburgh which makes the terror. Aimee made the tour very interesting, with some scary moments but also some humour in the right moments :)

Spooky fun! - Tour guide Dom was informative and fun, he sprinkled in a few little jumpscares here and there that kept us on our toes! The vaults are very low lit, and one section is in complete darkness, so definitely not for the faint of heart! I walk with a cane and found getting into the vaults a little strenuous as there is a large step up (about 18 inches high!) into the building, and a winding staircase. It was still completely enjoyable and worth it, but just a word of warning for those with mobility issues!

Great storytelling - We had Darren for the late night vault tour. Excellent story teller. I did think we'd go further underground, but the eeriness and story telling was enough even as a non believer I was creeped out 🤣🤣

So glad we did this tour! - Currently visiting Scotland feom Wales for the 6 nations rugby tie and decided to book on this tour. So beyond glad that I did, we had Jordan as our guide and he was bloody brilliant! The tour was informative, darkly humorous and kept us all engaged throughout. The tales of the vaults. Would definitely recommend if you're visiting Edinburgh for any reason. It is quite a trek however so make sure to wear comfortable footwear.
