Do it !!!! - My friend and I did this pub crawl last year and had so much fun that when we were coming back to Edinburgh we knew we had to go again. Ester was our guide and she was truly so kind and hilarious. Pub crawls can be a bit scary when you’re in a foreign city or if you’re solo but every single person we met was so lovely! All of the bars were fun, great music, and great vibes. Highly recommend this pub crawl if you’re coming to Edinburgh if you want an unforgettable night full of fun and laughs with people you’ll probably never see again, or maybe you will you never know!! Best bar crawl ever! - Everytime I visit Edinburgh, i always make sure that i go on this bar crawl as its excellent! This time had to be the best as everyone was so friendly and the hosts did a great job! Keep up the great work!

Edinburgh Pub Crawl - Day 2 - A very aggressive pub crawl. Started at 8:00 and was to cover 7 pubs. Made the first 3 due to early commitment the next morning. Houston was great. Lively group including a couple from Austin, TX and a group of ladies from Australia. First 2 stops were hopping with shots to start.

Cheers to an amazing night!! - Amazing tour of the different pubs in the area! Had a blast with the tour guide Tianna, Tom and the other members of the tour!!! This was a night to remember!! I highly recommend this tour for adults looking to get a taste of what Edinburgh has to offer!

It was all a blur! - From what I can remember, I had a really great time. The Scott's really know how to drink! Our guide was fun too!

A good choice for our one night in town! - Our guide was impecable in every way! very clear when it came to instructions and as of what we could do on what we couldn't do. We were just landing in town and didn't know where we were, but she made sure that we had the information we needed to be able to go later to our airbnb. She was nice and attentive. The first bar and meeting point we didn't really like it that much but the rest was very good. Thanks for the fun night!

Awful Awful AWFUL - This... this was awful😂 My friend and I both had different expectations for this tour; she figured we would be going to bars whereas I took "pub" literally and thought we'd be exploring pubs favored by locals and maybe get some historical insights from the guide. What it ended up being was a tourist trap ideal for people 18-21 year olds. The crawl started out in a crappy bar on the bottom level of a hostel where drinks were overpriced and took forever for the bartenders to make. I swear, it took the bartender we got upwards of five minutes to make two cocktails; and that's not including the time it took us waiting to get their attention despite the bar not being busy. (I'm a bartender myself, so I can say with confidence that these two cocktails should not have taken nearly this long to make.) This first stop is also an informal hour spent sitting around waiting for literally *anything* to happen. It's more so a way to give people time to show up for the tour before the crawl officially starts while the guide stands in a corner with what looked to be personal friends of hers. So it's an entire hour just wasted in a dumpy, loud bar. When the tour officially started, everyone just kind of realized we were moving outside with no actual direction from the guide. Once outside, she gathered everyone around to welcome the group and lay down some very awkward ground rules asking us not to do things like have sex and masturbate while on the tour. I wish I were making this up. She also made sure to tell us that we wouldn't actually be getting a free shot at every stop per liquor laws in the city about distributing free alcohol or something like that. Honestly, I hadn't planned on taking the shots at any of the stops, so this wasn't a huge deal for me, but it's most definitely false advertising per the listing to say that you'll be getting free shots at the stops when you're in fact required to purchase an additional drink at some locations. I wanted to leave at this point, but we stuck it out to see the actual first stop of the crawl. This first stop was a teeny-tiny club with an insanely loud DJ. The pub crawl group was way too big for this location, and it made it nearly impossible to move around, let alone get a drink at the bar. This makes me wonder how this tour group organizes these crawls in terms of adjusting location stops to the group size. At this point, my friend and I dipped and went off to a couple bars on our own. I tried to contact Viator for a refund based on the fact that we didn't stay longer than an hour of what was supposed to be, like, a six-hour thing, and because of the misleading advertising, but no dice which is also scummy to me. Overall, just an awful experience. Also, as a sidebar, it's worth noting that when we checked in at the first stop, the guide questioned our tickets. She was asking for both of our tickets, but I'm the one who made the booking and we only got one email, but that email specifically says we bought two tickets, so this was a weird start to the crawl.
