Royal mile tour - We had a grand time. Our guide was dressed as Sherlock Holmes and led us down the Royal Mile pointing out many facts & myths about that part of Edinburgh. He was energetic and entertaining and obviously enjoyed his task. Also the fudge sample we were given was delicious. We’re making that shop, The Fudge House on Canongate, a regular stop.

Enjoyable even in the rain. - Fun even in the pouring rain! The morning of our tour was cold, windy & non-stop rain. BUT our tour guide had such enthusiasm, he made us not mind the weather so much. So sorry, I’ve forgotten his name, but he had so many tidbits & interesting historical facts and showed us little “gems” we never would’ve found on our own. Short & sweet tour on the Royal Mile, and we’d highly recommend it!
