Just brilliantly funny … and his dog is cute too. - Definitely one of the best walking tours I have been on. Daniel was just hilarious, I had tears of laughter roll down my face. He certainly knows a lot about Edinburgh too, so it was a really good mix of hysterics and history, We were with a large group of people, yet he remembered everyone’s name and included everyone with his slagging, lol. Really good value for money too as it is a packed 2 hour tour. If you are easily offended, this isn’t the tour for you, but it you aren't then it is a must, you won't be disappointed. Thanks Daniel, we really had a memorable fantastic time.

Uniquely Creative/Delightful Edinburgh Adult Walking Tour - Daniel is an animated, gifted, delightful, detailed story-teller & tour guide. And quite the exquisite reciter of magnificent Scottish poetry. Especially appreciated his having everyone introduce themselves: sharing names, occupations, 'homeland' and Daniel then remembering all of it, making for a more personal, fun, 'connected' group. His self-deprecating humor, wealth of 'Scottish' knowledge & tour pace made for a memorable, highly enjoyable & uniquely educational experience in busy, bustling, rainy Edinburgh. (Daniel's tour NOT appropriate for young kids; may not be enjoyable for anyone easily offended by 'salty stories' occasionally laced with 'F' bombs. However, my husband & I ... almost 70!!! who have never used 'above' language, thoroughly enjoyed Daniel's brilliantly 'vivid' story-telling of Scotland's complicated, fascinating, heartbreaking & vibrant history.) Daniel clearly loves his homeland - his energetic sharing of obviously well-researched Scottish history, with some 'steamy/saucy' yet, relevant 'asides' made for a uniquely unforgettable & enlightening Edinburgh adventure. Learned a lot of 'complicated/surprising history.' IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! Bonus: Meeting Daniel's sweet, adorable, friendly, fluffy dog... Slainte, DANIEL! (Eileen & Terry, Oregon)

An enjoyable and obviously popular tour. Good craic. - We had this tour recommended to us by a work colleague and we weren't disappointed. Very enjoyable tour and well worth doing. Be open minded and have a sense of humour. Don't take yourself too seriously. Daniel knows his stuff and is very funny. Takes the time to get to know everyone. You'll learn some cool stuff about the history of Edinburgh's old town. Highly recommended.

The King of Edinburgh!! - We've come to Edinburgh for our honeymoon and had read many of Daniel's positive reviews, so couldn't wait to get a spot on one of his tours. We cannot stress enough how hysterical this guy is! He blew us away with his knowledge, quick wit, self deprecating humour, and ability to cajole a smile out of even the most shyest of group members. There may have been a smattering of p!$$ taking, and occasional use of bad language, but all in good humour. We cannot recommend Daniel and Brahan (his equally as charming Goldendoodle) enough, if you come to Edinburgh you cannot miss out on this - of you do then you're just a daft old jobbie.

Daniel was absolutely the BEST! Don’t miss this tour!! - This was our absolutely favorite tour in Edinburgh! Daniel was brilliant, funny, unbelievably able to connect with everyone there, and had so much historical knowledge that we could have spent all day hanging with him! He gave us pertinent and interesting information about Edinburgh and took us to many interesting places we wouldn’t have otherwise seen - and he did it in a hilariously fun way. If you get the chance to do this tour, jump at it, he was over the top great!!

Fun and unique - Nice mix of history and comedy with plenty of stories and banter. Daniel was so good at remembering names and made sure to include everyone. The tour included the upper part of the royal mile and also some areas beyond, which was good as I then felt I had seen more of the city. Thanks Daniel :)

A hilarious look at the history of Scotland that will leave you in stitches! - Booked this tour with a group of six friends during our return visit to Edinburgh. This was a refreshing tour of the city with a comedic twist of Scotland. Our tour guide, Daniel, is very quick witted and we were impressed with his versatility to delve out comedic jabs to the group based on their home countries that included the U.S., Australia, Canada, England, Ireland, and Scotland. Read the tour description carefully because this is a tour for people that know how to take a joke and not take things personally. He’s a comedian for god’s sake! Be prepared for quick whit that is very humorous, foul language, and a fresh take on the typical boring history tours that can be so serious that you forget to enjoy it. If you’re easily offended, lack the ability to catch quick jokes, or just don’t enjoy a really fun time with a charismatic comedian, skip this tour and book something else. We will continue to recommend this tour to everyone we know to ensure their visit to Edinburgh is enjoyable, fun, and memorable. Great job, Daniel! We appreciated your refreshing refrain from the political correctness to bring some levity and laughs to our tour, and of course, the education of our newest word, “jobbie!” Highly recommended tour for comedy, levity, laughs, enjoyment, and deviation from the Status Quo!
