Edinburgh Castle came alive - Alasdair made the Edinburgh Castle history come alive. He was interesting and he personalised the tour with special anecdotes

A definite to-do tour for seeing the Castle - This was a great tour. Alisdair is very good at reading his audience, and seamlessly tailored our tour to our interests. A little less walking around, and a lot more in-depth discussion of history and current Scottish society. We thoroughly enjoyed both the tour and his company!

Alastair was Fantastic - Highly Recommend - Alasdair was a fabulous guide! He is incredibly knowledgeable and his love for Edinburgh is obvious. Great Castle Tour! - Really enjoyed this tour of Edinburgh Castle. The guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. Told a lot of historical facts regarding the castle and prior inhabitants. It was 1.5 hours as advertised, then we were free to explore the castle on our on.

Amazing Alisdair - Great tour! Alisdair was very informative of the castle and the surrounding areas. We were able to skip the line to enter castle! He also gave us some delicious recommendations for food and pubs. Cannot recommend his tour more!

Perfect castle tour! - Alasdair was amazing! Such a warm and genuine person, and a wealth of knowledge as well. The tour was the perfect orientation around the castle. I think even if I had opted to just use the audio guide the experience would have been much less enjoyable and quite sterile. Always opt for a tour from a local when possible- and I can't imagine a better tour guide to book with! 10/10 thanks!
