With a history spanning over 300 years, the Inn’s walls could share countless stories. This historic and famous establishment has hosted hundreds of thousands of guests, including notable figures like Rob Roy and Gerard Butler!
Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park is a Scottish national park centered around Loch Lomond and the Trossachs’ hills and glens, along with several other hill ranges.
It was the first of two national parks established by the Scottish Parliament in 2002, the second being the Cairngorms National Park. The park features numerous mountains and lochs, with its main attractions being the stunning scenery, walking trails, and wildlife.
Oban Distillery - Upon arrival in Oban, a visit to the Oban distillery is scheduled.

Free time to explore Oban town, enjoy a meal, and relax before traveling to Islay on the second day.
The small and historic Oban distillery is situated in the picturesque coastal town of Oban.
Oban distillery is named after the town where the Highland mainland meets the Islands, nestled below the steep cliff overlooking Oban.
This coastal setting is said to be reflected in the character of the Oban 14-year-old single malt whisky. Join the tour to discover more!
Islay - Day 1
Ardbeg Distillery - Following the visit to Lagavulin, the next stop is Ardbeg for a whisky tasting and lunch.
Five whiskies are included, along with a guided tasting by the bar staff.
Lunch at Ardbeg is exceptional. The restaurant is popular among whisky enthusiasts and locals due to the quality of food and experience. (Food costs are not included.)
Bunnahabhain Distillery - A standard whisky tour and tasting at Bunnahabhain distillery, with two or three whiskies included.
The Bunnahabhain Distillery was established in 1881 near Port Askaig on Islay. The village of Bunnahabhain was created to accommodate its workers. The distillery is owned by Distell and is one of nine active distilleries on the island.
Bunnahabhain offers one of the milder single malt Islay whiskies, with a taste that significantly differs from other spirits found on the island of Islay, off Scotland’s west coast.
Islay - Day 2
Kilchoman Distillery - A standard tour and tasting at Kilchoman, featuring two or three whiskies.
Kilchoman was the first distillery built on Islay in over 124 years. Founded in 2005 by Anthony Wills, it is Islay’s only farm distillery, producing Single Farm Single Malt. Kilchoman is one of the few whisky distilleries in Scotland that remains independent.
Bruichladdich Distillery - A brief stop for a tasting and a visit to the fantastic gift shop.
Bruichladdich distillery is located on Islay’s southwestern tip.
Bruichladdich distills four unique spirits and is home to Bruichladdich, Port Charlotte, and Octomore single malt whiskies, as well as the Botanist Islay dry gin.
Laphroaig Distillery - The final stop is at Laphroaig distillery for a tasting and a tour of their whisky exhibition and gift shop.
The distillery and brand are owned and operated by Beam Suntory, the American subsidiary of Japan’s Suntory Holdings.
Islay to Drop off
The Clydeside Distillery - A stop for lunch and whisky tasting (four whiskies) at Clydeside distillery in Glasgow. Visitors to the Clydeside can enjoy meals and snacks in the luxurious Pumphouse Café.
Offering all of Scotland’s delights for enjoyment. The food is freshly prepared using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients, and the menu is carefully curated to highlight regional specialties.

Embark on a private whiskywheels.scot excursion to delve into Scotland’s abundant whisky heritage. Over the course of four days, you’ll get to savor and learn about the renowned ‘water of life’, departing from a location of your choice.
Our journey takes us through picturesque landscapes as we make our way from Loch Lomond to Oban, Scotland’s seafood hub, where we will halt for the night. Next, we proceed down the west coast to reach Islay. After a two-day sojourn on Islay, we head back on the fourth day via Inveraray.
