Tour to Cotopaxi with the best guide - I had the opportunity to do the full day tour to Cotopaxi and it was an amazing experience. Our guide Daniela (Dani) was very professional, attentive and always kept an eye on the group. He explained every detail with great passion and made everything very entertaining. Rating that he loves what he does and transmits it. I definitely recommend it for anyone who wants to know Cotopaxi in the best way.

Beautiful experience - Our guide Diana was very good in explaining everything we will have gone to do during the day. We leave around 7 am to stop at a filling station to have breakfast or buy snacks or souvenirs. Once arrived at the entrance of the park stop at a small museum where Diana explained the peculiarities of the area, second stop to drink tea with coca leaves (obviously optional). First stop Limpiopungo lagoon and then proceed to the parking area of Cotopaxi and continue on foot. There are 2 routes to get to the refuge, the “easy” one and the more difficult, decidedly steep one. Once you get to the top, however, the effort is immediately rewarded. After resting with a chocolate or with you with coke we proceed to the descent. Back at the bus we head to the restaurant for lunch, variety of dishes with vegetarian option. Return to Quito is around 5pm. Super recommended and thanks again to Diana

Great day out - A great day out with everything well organised before, during and follow up. Guide Diana was lovely: enthusiastic, welcoming, professional and knowledgeable. The hike up Cotopaxi was a bit challenging, but if you've decent fitness it's fine. We were fortunate to get to the refuge just before the weather closed in with a heavy hale/snow shower. Also fortunately it ceased for descent, but take good boots, rain coat, layers, hat etc. Lunch after the hike was good, excellent value. Definitely recommend if you're visiting Quito.

A bit scary (since the volcano is active) but interesting tour - The tour was good, not excellent because of the inclement cloudy weather, and also because it was hard for me to trek up to the base point - though I did cover 75% of the distance from the bus park to the base point. However, the redeeming feature was Veronica, our tour guide's concern and assistance. I was possibly the oldest traveller, and she was with me all the way till that 75% point (when I chose not to go any further because of the steepness), also lending me her walking sticks. The weather gods also showered their kindness for about 10 minutes, when the clouds were lifted to unveil the glacier! Hurrah! Driver Jimmy was also very considerate and patient while driving. And finally, the lunch was also sumptuous (besides being reasonably priced)!
