Unforgettable experience with Jeff and Christian- highly recommended - Unforgettable experience with our excellent tour guide Jeff was knowledgeable and very attentive. Always checking that we were comfortable, explaining options to ensure that we could choose the best for our interests, abilities and pace. We were fully involved in planning the schedule of the day. We enjoyed visits to cocoa tea and ice cream tasting too. He made every effort to accommodate our personal preferences, including allowance for our request to stop to feed the homeless dogs along the mountainous areas. Because of his knowledge of the areas and weather, we were able to capture some amazing photos. For example, he advised us to spend time around Quilotoa lake before lunch as he could see the clouds coming in. Sure enough, it started pouring down when we were having lunch. We were in safe hand at all times. Thank you to our friendly driver Christian for his excellent driving skills too. It was truly like spending a day with friends. I would highly recommend their service.

Great Tour - Despite the unfortunately very rainy and cloudy weather, Jefferson was very accommodating and flexible to our families' needs. He was very knowledgeable on Ecuador's history, culture, and current events and provided valuable insight on the everyday life in Ecuador. This is a great tour if your time is limited in Ecuador and want to get a taste of the beautiful Andean surroundings.

Wonderful National Park and Community tour. - Our tour included two national parks Cotopaxi and Quilotoa Lagoon. Jefferson was very knowledgeable about the areas explored. He spoke easily about Ecuador 's history and current events. The trip included opportunity to see the countryside and the people in various communities. Jefferson has developed relationships with locals.
Jefferson spent 11 hours with us. Well beyond the booked time. We were so lucky.

Absolutely wonderful! - Caesar was the best guide we could have asked for. He was very gracious in accommodating all our needs during our full day tour of volcano sightseeing to both Cotopaxi and Quilotoa. The long drive from Quito was well worth what we encountered - an expert tour of the city and outlaying areas along the drive to get to the most spectacular views of both Cotopaxi and Quilotoa where we met 2 precious lamas for the best photo op! We ate a delicious traditional lunch at a restaurant in Quilotoa and enjoyed wonderful conversation all day long learning so much about Ecuador all along the way. So glad we signed up for this one!

Amazing full day tour from Quito - This experience was amazing! We couldn’t have asked for a better guide! Jeff was so knowledgeable and entertaining. He was very willing to accommodate our interests and spend extra time in areas that we were really enjoying. He made extra stops to grab a quick local ice cream bar and gave great advice for us to have coca tea before the hikes! We truly enjoyed this experience and would recommend to anyone in Quito!

Private Tour to Cotopaxi and Quilotoa - Had a great day tour!
The weather wasn’t perfect for Cotopaxi Volcano, but Quilotoa Lake looked absolutely stunning. Our guide Luisfer was super friendly and helpful.
Highly recommend!

Seeing the volcano crater... - Seeing the volcano crater was great, as were the sites seen driving through the Andes. I wish I had realized how much of the experience would be driving before choosing to do this excursion over something else. It's a lot of time in the van, not so much time at the actual location. But our guide was well versed in the history of the area, and a fantastic driver (because the traffic is crazier than New York city).

Lack of professionalism, dirty car, rushed itinerary specially for private tour at high coat - I have booked many tours through Viator and always check reviews before booking, but this experience was extremely disappointing.
Our tour guide, Luis (the owner was Diego), picked us up from our hotel in a small, dirty sedan—dusty mats and all. Given that we had a long day ahead, I requested a different car. After much hesitation, he agreed and drove us to someone’s house to get another vehicle. While this one was slightly better, it was still far from clean or comfortable.
From the start, the tour felt disorganized. It seemed like the owner hired a freelancer who was left to plan everything on their own. Instead of taking a direct route to Cotopaxi, the guide took a longer way, and when we finally arrived, he refused to let us get out of the car. He claimed that if we explored Cotopaxi, we wouldn’t have enough time for Quilotoa. This was completely different from what was promised in the itinerary. Instead of allowing us to walk around and experience the area, he rushed us through, only stopping briefly at the first lake—where, again, we weren’t allowed to get out.
His attitude throughout the trip was rude and dismissive, as if he had no interest in showing us anything. As frequent travelers, we could clearly sense his unwillingness to accommodate us. At one point, I wanted to cancel the tour altogether, but knowing we wouldn’t get a refund, we decided to continue.
When we finally reached Quilotoa, the lake was stunning—the only highlight of the day. My husband had to insist that we stay for at least an hour, despite the guide repeatedly pressuring us to leave, claiming it would take four hours to return. In reality, we got back to our hotel in less than three hours.
To make matters worse, the guide made multiple unnecessary stops—for food (which we never requested), for gas, and even at a car repair shop—while we remained stuck in the vehicle. Despite paying for a premium private tour, we were rushed through the main sights and returned to our hotel earlier than scheduled, having barely experienced what we paid for.
This was, by far, the most expensive and disappointing private tour we’ve ever taken. Save yourself the hassle and avoid booking through this company .
