We will visit Papallacta hot springs, renowned for their miraculous healing powers.
Next is the Suchipakari Ecuadorian Jungle Lodge, tucked deep within the jungle and merely 20 minutes from Puerto Misahuallí. Here, activities like hiking and Napo River navigation await you.
In Baños de Agua Santa, you get to explore the famous waterfall trail, the Pailon del Diablo, and the renowned Tree House, home to the swing at the edge of the world.
We will also venture into Cotopaxi National Park where you can choose between two activities: a horseback ride around the active volcano or a hike to the ‘José Rivas’ refuge standing tall at 4864 meters above sea level.
The tour culminates in the city of Quito, where the drop-off location can be arranged during your journey with the guide.
- WHAT TO BRING?
- Light wool is ideal and a warm jacket is usually necessary in the highlands after the sunset. Shoes for walking, or good hiking boots, a thick sweater and a jacket. Remember that the higher you are, the colder the weather will be.
- Temperature Range: 5º-25ºC (41º-77ºF). For the Jungle: Lightweight & clothing with long sleeves/pants, swimwear, shorts, comfortable & supportive walking shoes, sandals, flashlight, rain gear, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellant, camera and extra batteries and not forget your passport. Temperature Range: 23º to 26º C (72º to 80º F)
