Why let only the birds enjoy the view? - Had a brilliant day with Captain "Air" Jordan. Sunrise from the air over Darwin was amazing and the day just kept getting better. The helicopter ride above the Katherine Gorge gives a spectacular perspective of the size and beauty not able to be truly appreciated by land. The cruise provides an up close experience of the Gorge. If you only have a short time in the Top End, treat yourself to an unforgettable day.

Exceptional day out! - We had an absolutely outstanding day, the helicopter flight over the Katherine Gorge was amazing and then the cruise along the first and second gorge was mind blowing. The flight to and from Darwin/Katherine was well worth while, made for a wonderful day. Loved brunch at Pop Rocket! If you have limited time then this is definitely the way to see Katherine Gorge.

Have an adventure in style. - Having never been on a tiny aircraft or a helicopter I was terrified and my husband thrilled about this tour. Shravan was our pilot and he was a great tour guide but more importantly a great pilot. The helicopter scenic flight with Matt was exhilarating and the cruise afterwards highlighted the stark contrast between seeing the same beautiful landscape from air and water. We had the best day. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to get away from spending hours on a bus and have a really special day. Thanks Shravan for looking after us!

WOW what a day - We started our day early and took the 1 hour flight down to Katherine, where we were met by our local guide Fred show showed us the sights before heading to our helicopter flight. The flight over the 13 gorges was breathtaking and made you appreciate just how big it was. On our return we were then dropped off for our 2 hour cruise of the gorges followed by lunch and return trip back to Darwin. Our Pilot Jonathon was awesome, we got to hang out with him for the whole day and we all felt like old friends by the time we returned. This tour is excellent value for money as everything is included (except for lunch). If you are short on time this is definitely the way to see Katherine.

Katherine Gorge from Darwin - This tour was a disaster. The helicopter flight had been advertised as "a helicopter ride through the twists and turns of Katherine Gorge" and the accompanying photo had shown a helicopter flying through a gorge. Our flight proceeded high above the gorges and it became clear that we would only fully experience the "all encompassing view of the grandeur and brilliance of the gorges" referred to in the advertisement while undertaking the cruise through Katherine Gorge. That experience was not fulfilled because the operator had failed to book us on the cruise. Consequently the experience we had been promised involved travelling more than 700 kilometres for more than 8 hours to undertake a 20 minute helicopter flight which was not as advertised. What we had expected to be a highlight of our holiday was not only a bitter disappointment on the day but also spoilt our whole experience of the Top End. We were not contacted by the operator and given an explanation for more than a week and then only after we had sent an email and made a telephone call to the Darwin office. Subsequently, the operator's director based in Perth begrudgingly and without apology gave us a partial refund of the cost paid by us.
