- Hotel Pyhätunturi - Whack your axes in the ice and climb up! Safe also for the beginners, exciting and rewarding for everyone. Bliss Adventure guides in Pyhä, Lapland, will instruct you the ice climbing technique. Then it’s your turn to show some adventurous spirit and determination.
Meet your ice climbing guide at Hotel Pyhätunturi’s reception, get equipped, hike 10 minutes in the wilderness and get the ice climbing going at Tajukangas Ice Fall in Pyhä. By the Tajukangas ice climbing shrine you will enjoy not only climbing in beautiful environment but also a bonfire and some hot berry beverages keeping you warm during the little breaks. All the climbers will get two proper climbs up the ice wall reaching above 20 meters. The higher you climb the better the views get!
Suitable for anyone somewhat moderately fit. If you can enjoy a brisk walk you can enjoy ice climbing, too.

You will meet your Bliss Adventure guide at the CAMP Kitchen & Bar, just next to Hotel Pyhätunturi's reception. If you are coming from Rovaniemi by SkiBus, it will be the "Hotel Pyhätunturi" bus stop.

Ice climbing - The ice climbing was fantastic! We received a warm welcome from Bliss adventure. A knowledgeable instructor explained and demonstrated everything step by step. A sporting adventure, well- organized from start to finish.

Amazing, good organization, lots of fun! - I booked the ICE Climbing for my friend for his birthday. On the phone and by mail everyone was very friendly.
Laura, Sergaj and Kai were super cool guides, and explained everything to us so that we felt very safe We were able to climb the wall in a small group all 2 times, take photos and enjoy Hot Berry Juice by the fire.

Great private experience - My boyfriend and I booked the private ice climbing activity in Pyhä. Our guide was very experienced and friendly and made sure we were safe while climbing. He gave us great tips during our climb and let us pick our own route. Because we were only with 2 of us, we were able to climb 2 routes. We both loved the ice climbing a lot! It's a quite straining activity, but also worth the effort.

Unique and amazing experience on ice !! - Amazing experience for us to do this very unique activity ! Our guides, Lucy and Eva were very professionals. We felt very well supported ! We were only 4 people to climb and could do 2 climbings each, which was amazing ! Tks a lot ! We never tried on this activity and it was really a highlight for us

Miär hend kuuli Stundä spent bim Iischlättärä. Super instructive and very ä frindlichä guide. First of all. We like it - Have fun, nice guide and a great experience. But not the last time. It was fun. It's worth it.

Highly recommend Bliss Adventures for you Pyha Activites - We booked two activities with Bliss Adventure: family ice climbing and wilderness skiing. We are a family of five with kids ages 7, 10 and 13.
Both activities were wondering. We especially enjoyed ice climbing as this is a rare thing to find for kids. Art the owner, and our additional guide Serge were so incredibly patient with all three of my kids. I couldn't believe how high they all climbed. Very professional and safe the whole time. We came to Pyha specifically for the ice climbing and it was a a try highlight of our trip. I highly recommend Bliss Adventure and ice climbing specifically.
The following day we did wilderness skiing in the national park. This was another great activity and a wonderful way to enjoy the beauty of the forest. We had so much fun going in the deep powder and unmarked paths.

Super fun. - Lovely experience ice climbing in Pyha.
Teena and her team were fantastic at explaining the techniques and very supportive during the climbs. Lunch and berry tea were very welcome given it was almost -15C.
Would love to do this again.

Highlight activity - We did this as a family. I have a fear of heights and had anticipated I wouldn't climb and would take photos. It is professionally organised, very friendly guides and has beautifully scenery. I told the guide my height fear and without pressure said I could climb until I felt uncomfortable. They encourage you along the way and everyone goes at their own pace. We all loved this activity and the friendly staff. Highly recommend.
