Team Bliss has created a suitable climbing route to kids at Tajukangas. It is not necessary to be able to manoeuvre ice axes or the sometimes heavy-appearing crampons to climb this route. The route offers a fair number of holds for hands and feet. A qualified Bliss instructor will belay also the kid climbers, who will use a climbing helmet (which will not only make the activity safer, but also will give the little climber right kind of spirit).
A guide will supervise the children’s activity and go through all the necessary safety aspects, and share some wild stories about the history of Tajukangas and it’s mysterious habitats. There will be hot berry juice available for all the adventurers throughout the action. A memorable diploma will be handed out to all the small adventurers.
PLEASE NOTE THAT PARENTS CAN “TRY ICE CLIMBING” SIMULTANEOUSLY WITH THE YOUNGER ONES

You will meet your Bliss Adventure guide at the CAMP Kitchen & Bar, just next to Hotel Pyhätunturi's reception. If you are coming from Rovaniemi by SkiBus, it will be the "Hotel Pyhätunturi" bus stop.

Great morning climbing - Really great experience. My daughter loved the climbing and felt we were in safe hands. Nice fire and warm berry juice to keep warm whilst waiting as well. Would definitely recommend!

Kids Ice Climbing - Pyha - Our kids did the ice climbing with Bliss and it was nothing short of phenomenal!
With temps around -22 plus wind chill we had the normal whinging about being cold but the guides were great, supplying down jackets and warm Berry juice. The fire was great to warm hands on also.
They were the only kids amongst a group of 10 and were made to feel very included.
Price was definitely worth it.

Very cold so make sure you have warm clothes, foot warmers etc. Need good fitness.

Go for a safe adventure with a professional team - A wonderful experience. Bliss adventure team is extremely professional. The equipment is brand new and safety is their priority. Our instructor, Inessa, was really encouraging and patient with my kid. I highly recommend this activity and Bliss adventure!

Team at the top - My 9 and 11 year old daughters loved it, amazing experience. The accompaniments were really top, especially with Inessa who speaks a little French and explained super well! Thank you very much to the whole team, we had a great time, it was great!

Best excursion in Finland with Karina and Inessa - We just finished a phenomenal experience climbing the ice wall with Inessa and Karina.
I went with my 14 year old daughter and 7 year old son.
Our guides were extremely professional and patient with us. I was a bit hesitant for safety especially with my 7 year old. But nothing to worry about, you are in great hands.
All three of us climbed, and we even had opportunity to do a second climb. They gave us a great sense of confidence even though it was our first time.
They brought hot berry juice as well as asnack for my son. We went over schedule with extra time and it was no issue and they were very accommodating.
As a side note, we also booked and paid for my husband and son. My son injured his wrist snowboarding the day before, they gave us a full refund without any issue. Really appreciated the whole experience both business wise and experience wise.
Your family wont forget the experience.

great frosty adventure for the whole family! - tobi (8) had a lot of fun climbing the ice wall! the guides, especially inessa, did a great job explaining everything to us and let the kids be the first to climb.
campfire, hot berry juice and extra jackets to warm up at -20 degrees ... everything was super organized!
thank you very much for the fantastic experience in the lappish winter ... we will definitely come back sometime! tobi, regina and manni from munich / germany

Perfect ice climbing experience for kids and parents! - Good explanation about how to start ice climbing, very helpful guides (also with our kids who do not speak English).
We also appreciated the warm tea on the fire pit and additional warm jackets which we desperately needed for our 5 year old son.
We really enjoyed the tour!
