Fun and Thrilling for the Whole Family! - The indoor water park is spectacular! We arrived right at park opening and we were able to walk on every single ride. There were so many thrill slides, our teenagers had a blast! There are A LOT of steps, and sometimes it was confusing on where to get the tubes/mats and then find the beginning of the slide. But overall, all 6 of us (adults and teens) had a great time!

Slippery when wet. - Overall had a great experience. However, the floor is extremely slippery and dirty! The tubes and mats are far from entrance to ride. Floors are slippery!

They could have done more - Be sure to bring your own towels their towels are $26 before taxes. Lockers are very expensive and the major rides were closed. Other than that. It was definitely something to do it was fun!

Fun but expensive… - Just went for my sons birthday, cabana was small and alittle too pricey for the size but I wanted to make sure we had a place to put out belongings, relax for a moment and re group. The price of water bottles was over $5 which “the audacity” and a beer was a whopping $11… don’t even get me started on how much I spent on food for the kids that was small portions. But in the end the kids enjoyed it, lots of workers and life guards on duty which was great I have to say everything was clean for the most part but my only concern was their was a random pad floating in the wave pool, a tooth flosser and I’d occasionally see random individual hair strands from braids on the floor lmfao but that’s not the workers fault that’s just inconsiderate peoples fault.

OK experience, but could be better with a few changes - Spring break 2024 we were part of the earthquake that happened on 4/5/2024! The waterpark was amazing. I felt like the water could’ve been a little more heated the indoor burger restaurant restaurant near the bar area inside the waterpark was too expensive for overcooked burgers and undercooked fries. The prices were ridiculous. Dressing rooms Were overly crowded that needs to change. It was a lot going on the workers didn’t really explain things to us. They just pointed us in different directions. Everything is overpriced inside

Not great water park or staff. - When we first arrived most rides were not running. The water wasn’t turned on. The few that were open weren’t staffed appropriately. The lifeguards are hardly paying attention. Very understaffed. The worker for the tube rides were letting kids keep tubes and continue to go on the ride while others waited 20 minutes from a tub to go ride. He had no clue. They had one worker to manage three slides, lines took way longer than they should. Dont purchase fast pass either as the workers don’t even pay attention. Very pricey for not much experience when half the rides are closed or don’t operate until halfway through the day. The mats and tubs were so far from the actual slides itself.. they should put pictures of the slides in the stairwells so you know which is which. Very confusing by the names. Most workers didn’t know what was going on either..

Ruined my daughters birthday - I am very disappointed in my experience at dream works waterpark. I decided to celebrate my daughters 3rd birthday there on May 11th, I spent $2,538.56 for 12 tickets and the skybox suite which holds 16 people, then I spent another $250 on burger shack and they would even give me utensils. There were no utensils in our bag so I went to the food area to ask for some and the manager Joanna refused to give me utensils. She insisted that she personally packed and delivered the food to my skybox suite and gave us utensils and that was not the case. She was not even the person who delivered the food to my suite, I explained to her that the person who delivered to me was wearing a light blue shirt while Joanna was wearing a black shirt, which means she was mistaken me for another party. Joanna then told me if I had any issue to take that up with guest services. Why would I go to guest services for utensils to eat with? I gave up after that and we ate with our hands, such an embarrassment. Another issue was that the wrists bands they gave us wouldn’t work. They gave us 3 different sets of wristbands to get in our suite and none of them worked. Therefore I had to stay in the suite instead of enjoying the waterpark with my baby girl for her birthday. They said they would send someone to stay in the area to let us back in the suit but that young man was only there for a short time and was too busy talking to his colleagues while we stood waiting for assistance. So much time was wasted with me going back and for to check in about the wrist bands and waiting for assistance that I spent the majority of my time in the suite just waiting for a resolution. The concierge took an hour to respond to my txt message when I needed assistance so that was unhelpful as well. Also the VIP hot tub was not in use during our stay which was another disappointment. The water park itself is great and the children really enjoyed themselves, but it was frustrating, disappointing, and an embarrassment to me after spending all that money and receiving such poor service. I feel like this was a waste of my money, I did not enjoy my time there. Next time I will go to the new waterpark in Atlantic City where I could hopefully receive better service and will definitely spend less money.

not happy - Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with customer service desk! I have lost my glasses on February visit and this visit I stopped by at service desk and gentleman who was the only one there was kind but not helpful! He ignored my request to check for my glasses and he just kept telling me" If we had your glasses, we would call you" but, I I asked him to check the drawers. And, He did not!

Looking for an American NIGHTMARE??? Try American Dream! - If you are looking for poor customer service, attitude from employees, and poor family experience - THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!!! If not, find another place! I purchased tickets to the Water park for myself and my 4 year old and everything was listed as open on the website (which why we chose the water park as opposed to Nickelodeon Universe which had multiple attractions closed). Arrived within an hour at the Waterpark and found that ALL THE KIDS attractions were CLOSED!! Front desk representative causally mentioned that my son would “just have to watch” - when I explained I wasn’t paying $100 bucks for him to sit around, Alexis the manager refused to provide a refund, but said the “best he could do” was to transfer the reservation to Nickelodeon Universe because it was equivalent and the attractions were open. Alexis seemed content to pocket the difference in price ($20/ticket) until I pointed it out…then he was able to “refund” the difference. He had no answer when I asked why he could refund the difference but not the entire purchase. Unfortunately, Nickelodeon was NOT any better - several of the children’s rides were down for maintenance, leaving my son a choice of like 4-5 rides. And since I had my son, I basically paid $80 to stand and watch him ride rides, since most of the rides we could have rode together were closed for maintenance. The floor manager at Nickelodeon apparently when through the same training as Alexis and similar less than helpful. As we were leaving, I happened to see another manager (Liz) and expressed my disappointment. Liz put me in contact with guest services and Sandra was able to at least help with my experience by bringing us back at no charge (apparently no one can refund anything at America Dream no matter how bad the service/experience is), otherwise I would have been done with American Dream. Hopefully the second tome will be MUCH better than the first!!
