Great time!!! - This is a mall you could probably spend the whole day at filled with activities. Look you are in Bergen County right outside NYC, expect to pay those prices…. Parking was tough on a holiday, but that’s expected. Overall it was very clean with many options of activities from 15-$100. We did golf and the ropes course which was around 100 for 3 of us.. we decided not to eat there due to the crowds and us being familiar with the area.. will go again to check out Big Snow and the water park. My visit was on Presidents’ Day so it was loaded with families looking for things to do!

MOSTLY CLOSED ON SUNDAYS!!!! - MOSTLY CLOSED ON SUNDAYS!!!! This is a beautiful mall but a little confusing for a first time visitor. My friend and I planned the whole trip around the mall. Unfortunately, we planned Sunday as our shopping day for our New York/New Jersey trip. Unaware of a Blue Law from 1600's that makes it illegal to work on Sunday and 2/3 of the mall abides by the law. But there is a lot to see and do at the mall if you are not going there to shop.

Cute decor - The miniature golf was soooo much fun. The decor and light music in the background made us feel like we are floating around. We had a great time.

fun course - fun time but the person taking our money at the counter could have been friendly or had a personality. Had fun anyway. The course was cool. Not too hard. I liked the neon affects.

Nicklelodeon ride points are blocked on the MLK day and the system kept suggested me to buy more. - I want to be specific: 1. I still have 18 points for Nicklelodeon but could not use them as it's a holiday. Instead, you have to buy the unlimited play ticket, which is $79? my son was disappointed and refused to play. We go there several times a year. How are supposed to remember this? I can see they want to make money. 2. every time I tried to buy tickets online, the system popped up and suggested several more, automatically added them into my shopping cart: I had to manually deleted them. This on and off went on for a long time until the tickets I wanted are gone. Frustrating.

Don’t go!!! - We went to play black light mini golf and were told to purchase tickets online as they would be cheaper. We started to do so and the woman behind the counter told us(quite rudely) we couldn’t stand on the purple, that we needed to stand on the white floor even though no one else was around at the time. We each bought (my cousin and I) 2 tickets for black light mini golf, one for each of our 4 kids. We told her we were ready and she scanned our QR code. She asked if the oldest child was 14 and we said no. Confused we then had her scan the 2nd QR code for two other tickets. She asked why there were 6 of us and only 4 tickets. We explained to her that we (adults) we not playing as it takes a long time for six of us to golf. She seemed to get quite annoyed at this point and told us that the fine writing under the terms said we had to buy a ticket as well. Not only did she not mention this to us when we wanted to buy the tickets, she started raising her voice at us saying she isn’t going to lose her job for this and there were cameras everywhere. We were appalled by the price of the tickets to begin with but were dumbfounded that we HAD to buy tickets to go in. So we purchased 2 more tickets and moved on. I then went to grab a golf putter and she yelled at me saying don’t touch that I will hand you one. She was so rude and unprofessional especially in front of 4 kids. Since we had to pay we did play (2 adults) but then felt rushed as she let in other groups right after us. The whole experience either her at the front desk was awful. Never again will I go or recommend to anyone. The course was also very simple.

Don't buy bundle tickets - We purchased a bundle tickets. When we finished other rides, I checked the closed time and it said the golf will be closed at 8PM. When I got there at 7:40PM, the stuff didn't let us go in and said we had to arrive at least 30 mins. Well, this rule was never mentioned anywhere in the park or their site. I tried to contact customer services and they refused to give me a partial refund for the golf. If you are not sure your schedule, NEVER buy prepaid ticket.

Very rude employees. Don't let you in after 8pm. - About the blacklight mini golf. Please take note of the 2 young employees that were working at the entrance of the blacklight mini golf on May 10th at night. We where a group of 6 adults. We got there at 7:59pm. They told us that we couldn't get in because they can't let people in after 8pm. I told them that, according to the web page, entrance is until 8:15pm. I ask for a 30 mins game. They answered no to all my requests. I ask to speak to the manager and they told me that she wasn't answering. We left disillusioned because we travel from very far just to go to play in that mini golf. A few minutes later we found the Angry Birds mini golf. It was almost 8:15. The employees at the entrance and the establishment were very friendly and let us in. They did give us a great service and waited patiently until we finished (which was before 9pm) Shout out to them. Nobody has to beg to use one of the attractions at American Dream Mall. That's how I felt after all my tries to enter the blacklight mini golf. Shame on them.
