Additional Information

Embark on our E-bike Foodie Tour as we meander between select cafes, farm shops, and hidden picnic areas, getting a feel for the variety of offerings in Scotland’s Food & Drink County.

Begin your cycling journey at the stunning Tantallon Castle, the location of Ez Riders HQ. Our first culinary stop is Drift Cafe; an extraordinary coffee shop with remarkable views of the Firth of Forth coast and the powerful Bass Rock. You’ll get to sample something from their enticing brunch menu.

Next, we’ll bike through picturesque farm trails, passing the captivating Seacliff beach – home to the UK’s smallest harbour. After that, we stop at Tynninghame, a sandy beach where you can unwind with a delightful coffee and a scrumptious snack. Going inland, we’ll pedal over to PrestonMill in East Linton, where an appetizing picnic will surely surprise you. We then cycle back home, taking the scenic route along the John Muir way and through lush fields and forests. Finally, we’ll pause for a relaxing cup of tea and a sweet confection at the WhiteKirk orangery and walled terrace.

Supplemented our day out with 2 e-bikes for our friends - Tina is so helpful and professional. The bikes are the latest, well maintained and a pleasure to take on the occasional hill. Thank you - we'll definitely book again.

Memorable birthday excursion - Four family members celebrated my birthday with a wonderful e bike tour visiting the beaches, woodlands, fields and a mill, on the outskirts of N Berwick, with delicious food on route. The bikes were correctly chosen for our height/gender and mostly in good working order (although one had a sticky gear, for which the organiser was v apologetic ). The route is mostly on flat terrain and with the assisted power the hills were easily negotiable; thus the trip would also suit less experienced cyclists. The food was well sourced and included typical Scottish produce, of perfect quantities for us. However if the tour is attended by youngsters, maybe more would be needed? Whether this could be ascertained in advance: also perhaps a good idea to inform cyclists of what is being ordered in the local cafe. All in all a most memorable excursion!
