There is no end to what you can see while sailing with Virgin Islands Day Sailing. Join us as we explore the most breathtaking locations around the Virgin Islands. Create timeless memories as you experience spectacular sailing destinations with those you love.

Full day excursions depart from our slip in Sapphire Beach Marina, St. Thomas at 9:00 am (You can board as early as 8:30) with a return at 4 pm. If everyone is on-board early, we’ll get an early start.

âEnjoy the sights and our open bar as we sail. Our destination will be the St. John National Park and the picturesque surrounding cays. You will have the chance to discover why many say that St John offers some of the best snorkeling and swimming locations in the Virgin Islands.

âWe usually try to hit two different locations with a fresh grilled lunch served between stops. Our locations will be picked based upon the wind, weather and crowd conditions. Our goal is to stay away from the stops that are frequented by the cruise ship excursions.

In case you are getting in via Cruise ship, we advise that you get in touch with us directly to guarantee that your port arrival timings align with our sailing schedules.

Please be at the meeting location at least 15 minutes prior to the departure time. Time listed are departure times. If you miss the sailing there will be no refund.
If you are arriving by cruise ship, you must reach out directly to the tour operator with your ships name and port times! Not all times will work with our schedule. No refunds will be offered on the day of departure if your times don’t fit with ours..

We're located in Slip S-18 at Sapphire Beach Marina. The slip is located on the backside of the marina. If driving, we have ample free parking. If arriving by taxi, have the driver drop you at the Marina office. Proceed to slip S-18. The Slip is on the back side of the marina from the parking area.

Go Go Go with these guys - Mark & Rusty were fabulous HIGHLY recommend going on a tour with them. Both places we stopped had excellent snorkeling. The green sea turtles in Maho, were amazing to see! The grilled lunch was great, and so was the company! Book with these guys.

My wife and I day sail Billy and Gina from Texas - We had no idea of how much we were going to enjoy the trip with Mark and Rusty. They made the day absolutely special and fun. The lunch was superb and they are very knowledgeable. I want to showcase Rusty as he was fantastic!!Ha I told you Capt,. I cannot recommend this high enough a d would 10/10 recommend

Great Day! - Our group of 6 had an awesome time. Rusty and Mark were high quality guys that cared both about safety and having a great time. We saw amazing sights and learned a lot about the surrounding area. Highlights were the sea turtles and stingrays! Lunch was delicious-seriously! Make sure to hydrate! We would absolutely book with Virgin Islands Daysailing again.

Wow! Fantastic… - The full trip was memorable! Mark and Rusty were fantastic! Great guys to sail with! They are the best hosts! The lunch was terrific…wouldn’t change a thing. Sail, prime snorkling, lunch without the crowds - Mark and Rusty provide great local information and will take you to the best locations to see marine life. We saw a cornucopia of fish, coral and sea turtles. The snorkel equipment was the best I've encountered and the meal was grilled and served on a set table for our exclusive small group. Our cups were never empty and the music did not overpower the setting. Looking to avoid large crowds and have personal service? Look no further!!

Outstanding!! - Sailing with Capt Mark and rusty is a great memorable day they make it very special! From the different and always beautiful islands to snorkel to the delicious meal they prepare! Let’s not for get rusty pots a mean painkiller! The Turtles are amazing it’s so incredibly cool to share the water with these beautiful creatures! My Wife and I have sailed 2 years in a row and will continue to book this sail!

Day sail/snorkeling trip- st Thomas. - What an absolutely beautiful day. Truly a day to remember. Mark and Rusty were fantastic! They took us away from crowds to the best spots where we saw the best sights including sea turtles. Incredible experience. Great music, food, drinks and snorkeling. Wonderful sailing experience. Ask Rusty to make you a painkiller! Best one ever. 😎

Wonderful day! - Wonderful day! Captain Mark and his mate Rusty were friendly, knowledgeable and Rusty mixes a mean drink! We saw turtles, shark, rays and many different fish. This trip is a must!

Not what it used to be - We have been to this island many times but not in the past 6 years. We are here for a wedding and were very disappointed in the island experience this time! The power goes out 2-3 times a day. Luckily our rental cottage has a solar generator but the very expensive Hills where the wedding took place…does not! No one was informed of the potential outages and it makes everything very inconvenient. It is VERY hot and humid here so not having electricity is quite uncomfortable! The beaches are VERY crowded. You have to leave early to get a good spot. Due to the crowds, parking in town is difficult. Restaurants are crowded and service is slow. Snorkeling is still amazing, the views still gorgeous, but the cons outweigh the pros for us. Heat, humidity, crowds, bugs, ( we were eaten alive), expense, the difficulty driving around to get anywhere….we would not come back. We have other places we will go to instead.
