There is no end to what you can see while sailing with Virgin Islands Day Sailing. Join us as we explore the most breathtaking locations around the Virgin Islands. Create timeless memories as you experience spectacular sailing destinations with those you love.

Full day excursions depart from our slip in Sapphire Beach Marina, St. Thomas at 9:00 am (You can board as early as 8:30) with a return at 4 pm. If everyone is on-board early, we’ll get an early start.

âEnjoy the sights and our open bar as we sail. Our destination will be the St. John National Park and the picturesque surrounding cays. You will have the chance to discover why many say that St John offers some of the best snorkeling and swimming locations in the Virgin Islands.

âWe usually try to hit two different locations with a fresh grilled lunch served between stops. Our locations will be picked based upon the wind, weather and crowd conditions. Our goal is to stay away from the stops that are frequented by the cruise ship excursions.

In case you are getting in via Cruise ship, we advise that you get in touch with us directly to guarantee that your port arrival timings align with our sailing schedules.

Please be at the meeting location at least 15 minutes prior to the departure time. Time listed are departure times. If you miss the sailing there will be no refund.
If you are arriving by cruise ship, you must reach out directly to the tour operator with your ships name and port times! Not all times will work with our schedule. No refunds will be offered on the day of departure if your times don’t fit with ours..

We're located in Slip S-18 at Sapphire Beach Marina. The slip is located on the backside of the marina. If driving, we have ample free parking. If arriving by taxi, have the driver drop you at the Marina office. Proceed to slip S-18. The Slip is on the back side of the marina from the parking area.

The superior Virgin Islands experience - Mark and Rusty accommodated myself and my friends extraordinarily well, not to mention being funny and personable. The snorkeling experiences were great and the lunch was fantastic. We were comfortable and the guys provided great company to and from our destinations. It goes without saying that the views and weather were wonderful.

Great experience! - Great adventure! Nice meal. Was very private with only 1 other couple with 1 child. The hosts were great & told us a lot a lot of areas to visit while we’re here. Highly recommended!

Watercycle 🏍️ - The trip was so peaceful and the water just beautiful. We started the morning at Lavango. Rusty hopped right in with us and we followed him throughout the coral. Spotted a ray. Bar opened as we headed to Honeymoon. Our lunch table was set when we came back to the boat. The grilled chicken was excellent as was the pasta salad. We then headed to Mingo (?) where we saw a small boat wreckage and a motorcycle! So cool. Besides the ray, we saw a turtle and barracuda. Captain Mark was a great guide and pointed out different areas and houses. He and Rusty both made our group of four comfortable. It was a great day!

Highlight of our St Thomas Trip - This was one of the highlights of our trip to St Thomas. The captain, Mark, and first mate, Rusty, were great and knowledgeable. There wasn't as much wind as we would have liked but we still got to sail a little bit. We stopped at 3 different snorkel spots- Lovango Cay (we saw multiple kinds of rays and fish), Honeymoon Beach on St John (turtle and fish), and Mingo Cay (we got to see a shipwreck with a motorcycle). My friend and I were on the boat with one other couple and it was the perfect amount of people for a nice day at sea. Lunch was very tasty too! Thank you for a great day!

Great tour, would highly recommend - The tour was great and took us to places we couldn't access by hiking. The boat guides were very knowledgeable about the weather and took us to the beaches with the clearest views. Lunch on the boat was also delicious.

Fine but didn’t provide as much as other boats that seemed to cater more to the guests - It was fine. We went to 3 snorkeling spots that were very good. After stop 2 we had lunch — grilled chicken, pasta, and grapes. We’ve been on other day sails that we’re on larger sail boats, they provide you muffins and oj to start (not on this one) and allowed you to rinse off in fresh water after each snorkel. Plus dessert… so those things are missing on this boat. This was also a little pricier but maybe the going rate is now 200$ pp…

Horrible Dictator..worst VI sail of my life - I don't think Mark and Rusty realize they are providing a service and therefore should be hospital to guest. What was supposed to be fun was anything but. Simple requests like a music change were denied and met with attitude. Not only do I not recommend this company, I personally hope Mark and Rusty learn some manners. I am beyond disappointed by the way we were treated. 1. Dictator style: My boat, my taste, so forced to listen to his 70s freedom rock the entire day even when I requested reggae (pretty standard island music). 2. Horrible, mean-spirited attitude.. Rusty screamed at all guest, not just the 4 of us women. 3. Zero hospitality. No welcome aboard..no friendly interaction at all. AVOID at all costs!!!!!

Trip was canceled. - Our reservation was canceled. The excursion is for guess at Ritz, outside reservations just to fill the left spots. We showed up only find out reservation was canceled, they keep asking if we are the guest of the hotel. There are people checking in while I am trying to figure out what to do. We booked all of our excursions before our trip and everyday. I have to scramble figure out what to do. I did not bring anything for the trip for us to snorkeling or swimming on our own. There isn't any someday excursion for us to book. I don't think the operator understands what is a canceled trip meant to their guests. They could cancel ahead, or decline ahead of time. There are plenty fun activities to choose from other than them ahead of time. All of our excursion are awesome, Day with Max Charter, or Stormy pirates, or our seal encounter and sea trek. Max Charter could not take us on the day we selected, they declined our reservation and gave us an alternative date. This is how you run your business. So disappointed at this operator.
