Highly recommend, amazing people! - Two other girls and I booked this trip, and were beyond excited. When we went to get a taxi we were being pushed around and not being told exactly where the vehicle they pushed us onto was going. I tried to verify multiple times that we were going to the American Yacht Harbor, and I would be there by at least 12:45-1pm. This was untrue and not only did they make multiple stops before-hand, we didn't make it to American Yacht Harbor until 1:30pm. I was distraught about being late and missing our window to board, but the General Manager Holly was truly incredible. She held the boat for us and helped me figure out this very stressful situation. Holding the boat was entirely unnecessary for them, so it was above and beyond for them to extend us that kindness. Once we boarded, Captain Sammy was an amazing tour guide with a wealth of knowledge about the local lore, wildlife, and the best snorkeling/swimming spots. I would use this company again 100% if I were to visit the St. Thomas area ever again!

Enjoyable Snorkeling Tour of St. John - We were one of four vacationing couples and four locals that took a trip to Maho Bay and special bonus stop at Carval Rock and Congo Cay. Large green turtles the size of trashcan lids with remora fish attached were easily found snorkeling and appearing at the surface, as well. The snorkeling equipment was clean and Capt. Wallens applied baby shampoo to the lens of the googles for us to prevent fogging up which worked great. The captain told us about the emptying of the cannons at Carval Rock, they weren’t allowed to enter port otherwise. More snorkeling at Congo Cay and then back to Red Hook marina. We throughly enjoyed our 4 hour excursion with Seas The Day Charters and tours.

HIGHLY recommended! - We had such an amazing day. We are celebrating our honeymoon and Wallens (the captain) took us to Maho Bay in St. John and then a private secret snorkel spot tucked away between two cays where the waters were beautiful teal and blue and contained such pretty elkhead coral and purple coral, along with so many awesome fish sightings and urchins! When we were at Maho Bay, I had turtles surfacing around me and got some of the best photos! I recommend brining a underwater camera to document the amazing experience. Would do it again in a heartbeat. Well worth it and had an amazing time !

A little warning would have been nice. - The boat ride was great. The first stop snorkeling at the reef was very good. The boat was clean, the Captain very knowledgeable. However, the second stop was snorkeling with the turtles and the beach at St. John’s. First the water was very murky. While we saw turtles surfacing, it was almost impossible to see them in the water. Second the Captain mentioned that some people swim to the white sandy beach here. What she failed to say, beside the long swim there, was that the wind was out of the west and this was causing a very rough surf. Then she failed to say that water shoes should have been recommended because she also failed to say you had to walk over rocks that hurt your feet. Then to add insult to injury (literally) as I attempted to stand to walk to the beach, the surf nailed me, knocking me over and then with a sharp undertow, the surf drug me over the rocks and the stones and beach, scraping both arms, both legs and my torso. I was unable to stand and had to be rescued by people on the beach. After gaining my balance and composer back, I was able to swim out into the water again, laying flat. Then I had the long swim back to the boat. On board the boat again, they didn’t have any first aid equipment beyond paper towels and a couple large bandaids. I was bleeding steadily from several different wounds. The remainder of my trip and my cruise was spent in pain and discomfort where a simple warning from the Captain, especially since the waves and surf were that rough that day could have prevented this. I don’t expect her or the company to control the weather or sea conditions, but I do expect a simple word of advice.
