Was great to experience the history and culture - I appreciate the early start which means that we missed peak heat. The My Son site itself was beautiful, our guide was well versed and super helpful. Food was simple but tasty and the ice coffee after the heat of My Son was very welcome

Excellent trip - My Son is fascinating, and getting up early was a good idea, it was great to be there without all the crowds.
We were very impressed by our guide, Philip, who was friendly and professional. His explanations were very clear and interesting, really helping to contextualise both ancient and recent history.
We also liked the small group, the bus trip was comfortable (good driver, spacious bus) and the banh mi for breakfast was tasty. There were vegetarians and vegans in our group and they were all catered for, too.

Perfect tour if the temperature during the day is to hot or if you want to take beautiful pictures of the Sanctuary - The early morning tour was perfect for us. The Hotel was outside the pickup area but for a reasonable fee the guide and driver would pick us up anyways. Small group which was nice. Our guide was very knowledgeable. Reason for this tour was our hope that the temperature would be manageable, which was the case but the biggest benefit is that there are less tourists around this time so we were able to make great pictures without anyone else being in frame. The drive from and to the hotel was very enjoyable and the breakfast at a local shop is a nice way to end the tour. Highly recommended

Really interesting place to visit! - Phillip was great, friendly, on time and very knowledgeable. I recommend going in the morning as it's a bit cooler and much less crowds!

Really interesting, and well organised - Really interesting tour. Phillip was friendly, on time, and very good at explaining the history of My Son Sanctuary. He walked with us and explained key parts, and we also had some free time to explore. I recommend seeing this early morning, before the heat and crowds.

The best way to visit My Son - This tour was definitely worth the early start. Our guide Ben was very knowledgeable and provided fantastic insight on the history and context of the site. The early start meant the weather was cooler and there was only 1 other small tour group in the whole site when we were there. When we left, dozens of large buses were just arriving and the weather was getting really warm. Breakfast was good, the group was small (10), the bus was comfortable, and our pick up from Da Nang was seamless. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Excellent visit - Tu is a great and knowledgeable guide – the fact that this is an early-morning tour made our visit quite relaxing and enjoyable. Overall, a nice and memorable experience.
I’d recommend grabbing some food/coffee before you leave, since the official breakfast stop is happening after the sanctuary visit.
They are very communicative, we got a confirmation about the pick-up place and time through WhatsApp a day before. And they are punctual! We will get back in town before noon, so we will have another half day to enjoy Hoi An. I highly recommended the trip!

Early morning wanders - The early start was a great way to see the the sanctuary with less people and less heat! Booking was easy and pickup/dropoff was smooth. Tu (the tour guide) was lovely. At the end we stopped for a lovely bahn Mi and coffee!
The tour could probably do with a bit more structure in terms of clear descriptions and explanations.
