Imperial War Museum Duxford, What a fantastic day out for all the family from seeing the first ever Concorde to seeing Sally ‘ B ‘ B-17 Flying Fortress G-BEDF is the last remaining airworthy B-17 in Europe. She is based in the UK from where she flies regularly at air shows, memorial flypasts and commemorative events as a memorial to the USAAF in Europe. Since 1982. Visitor access, we recommend you visit between 9am and 5pm (Mondays - Saturdays) and Midday and 4pm on Sundays, when you will be able to access more of the Ely Cathedral and enjoy one of our tours.
As a busy, living, working place of worship, there will be times visitor access is restricted or not possible, due to services, events, filming or maintenance. To avoid disappointment, please check for ‘Closures’ via website.
