Amazing experience with great guide - We had amazing experience doing 5 day Pamir highway trip from Dushanbe to Osh. The communication with the company went very smooth. Our guide and driver, Kokon was outstanding, he spoke good english, was very friendly and knowledgable. He helped us to immerse into the culture perfectly. Definitely reccomend.

Amazing pamir trip with Sali - Our driver SALI, was extremely kind, friendly, with a cool positive vibe ; he always did his best to satisfy our requests… always with a smile ! Our exchanges in English were super fluid  ( he also speaks all of the local languages 😊) We always felt very safe, he is an excellent professional & careful driver. He was very knowledgeable of all the Pamir roads and mountains we crossed. The car was perfect. Overall, we couldn't wish for a better service, he definitely deserves 5 stars ! The overall experience with Visit Alay was v. good. Do not underestimate the number of kilometers & days on bumpy roads and the potential impact of high altitude. We would have sometimes liked alternative places for lunch or homestays (most agencies send their travellers to the same places), but considering the limited options available, it was not always possible.

Great Pamir Highway experience - 7d Dushanbe to Osh - The booking through Visit Alay was very straightforward and easy. The provided itinerary was to the point and clear. The drivers Khadir ande Zhanibek were nice, skilled, calm and trustworthy. Nice to have local drivers that grew up in the area; you learn more about Pamir people by interacting with them. The homestays had character. Qal'ai Khumb rooms could have minor fixes and love; but the owner definitely compensated with his vibrant personality. Khorog homestay was beautiful, well-organized and had lovely kind hosts. Zong (nearLangar) was a bit more like hotel, less initimate. Alichur homestay was amazing; great dinner place there! Karakol hotel had luckily booked us wrong, so we could move to a homestay. That was a great 'choice': there was an after dinner party with music, singing and dancing. Yurt camp at Tolpar Kol was too beautiful and well-organized too. Definitely can recommend all homestays; clean enough and sufficient basics (electricity and bathrooms). Prices were transparant (most around 25USD incl. stay, dinner and breakfast; as indicated beforehand). What made the tour most fun qwas the mix of people. 8 people and 2 drivers; spread over two cars. Lovely dynamics, including the drivers. You have to communicate as a team on the Pamir Highway, be open and get to know eachother; what ever the obstacle or language barrier you experience. The fact we were such great team really made this trip a great experience; Zhanibek and Khadir (the drivers) were part of this team. Or as they said themselves: "This week we are like family"

A memorable ride with beautiful views, kind people and wonderful guides - Me and my boyfriend did the 7 day Pamir tour. We were a group of 8 people therefore had 2 cars. The tour was organized very well, we received all the practical info and itinerary upfront and kept each other updated via a WhatsApp group so compliments to Visit Alay for this! It was a nice balance between enjoying the scenery while driving, visiting local monuments, fortresses and enjoying local culture at lunch stops, town visits and homestays. Most importantly we had 2 very professional, kind and respectful drivers - Kadyr and Janysh. They have made the trip truly special and were much more than just drivers. We learned more about the Pamirs thanks to them. They always checked in with us to make sure we like the food, we have enough of everything and the prices are acceptable for us. We saw them troubleshooting on the way with calm and skill - whether it was flat tyre or the homestay they had arranged was no longer available. They always solved it and the group could continue with the schedule. Highly recommend the trip with Kadyr and Janysh whom we wish to see again when we return to the beautiful region.

Amazing experience - Every aspect of the tour was very well organised, cars were super clean and safe and accomodation were more than ok considering the standards on the Pamir. The drivers (nurbek, sash and apu) were absolutely amazing. They were super nice, helpful, and the best companions to have on this trip. Thanks to them and to Visiting Alay for this once in a lifetime experience, I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

10/10 landscapes and hospitality - The Pamir Highway road trip is one of the best trips that we have done in terms of experience and out of the world landscapes - breathtaking literally and figuratively. We rode with Kanybek and could not have asked for a better driver/guide/companion for this trip. Trip started off disastrous as my bag did not arrive with me in Dushanbe, but Kanybek sorted it - he went with me to the Airline office, arranged for his contact to pick up my bag and had it delivered to my where we were 3 days after we started our tour. He is patient, knowledgeable, dependable and funny, and we truly enjoyed our time with him. We did go through some dark moments together as well, but Kanybek was ever so positive and made sure we were well taken care of at all times despite his own discomfort. He made sure we enjoyed and understood all the location and sights throughout the journey. We were also very impressed with his proactiveness and constant desire to be better in his service and knowledge, and sincerely wish him all the best.

Incredible Pamir - It was an amazing adventure, for the stunning landscape and the 2 incredible drivers, Janich and Khadir, 2 kind and professional people that Made our group experience unforgettable! They made us enjoy the whole trip and take us to very good accomodations, listening to all our need. Highly recommended

Amazing, 100% do it! - An amazing once in a lifetime experience! Good value, good communication from Azi before the trip and the drivers/guides were just some of the best people I’ve ever met - Sash, Abu, Noorudin. The cars were good 4x4 cars and of course the scenery, hikes, raptors, culture is second to none. We did 4 hikes per the itinerary, and while some were long, all are doable for someone with an average level of fitness - my highlight was the Lenin peak base camp trek. 100% reccomend! The only downside would be that some of the hotel/guesthouses/home stays are a bit basic (toilets in particular), especially compared to the prices being charged - but I think this is broadly unavoidable in the remote regions the tour goes through. All in all, part of the experience, don’t let it put you off and just go for it!

World roof ,pamir plateau and the people in the nature - Good expedition and adventure and travel extraordinary scenery but we should not imagine diversified foods and comfortable transportation and cozy accommodation etc..... however it offset difficulties on the travel, we fully can be closer to the planet and look over the beginning of the world like other planet .. let get start for there. 🌍🌎⛰️🌏🗻🗻🗻🗻🚙🚙🚙🚙🚙🚙🚙🚙🚙🚙🚙🚙🚙🚙🚙🚙🚙🚙🚙🚙🚙🚙🚙
