A trip of a lifetime! - I would highly recommend Visit Alay to anyone considering this adventure. Great people running the company, great correspondence and great guides. This was a fantastic trip with amazing scenery and things to do. We did the Dushanbe - Osh tour. Our driver was excellent and a lot of fun. His name was NuRash and he handled the roads well and knew where the best sights were. When we had trouble in one city where a hotel would not honor our reservation, he found a place that had very good accommodations and we had a great evening. He knew many innkeepers and other drivers on the road. They tended to help each other when needed, making things easier. The best was when we went through the village of Alichur, his hometown, we stopped for a party his family was having for one of his nephews. This was a great experience. We were accepted into his home and he got to see his mother. The roads in some places were a little rough. But NuRush was able to handle and tried to make it less bouncy. He also helped with the border crossings between Tajikistan and Kyrgystan. He handled them well, as it is military working the borders. He also knew how to work through traffic when there was some. Mostly when we were in Sary Mogul at a time when shepherds were moving the sheep down the mountains, but through the cities. The scenery and views from the road were amazing. These are some of the most stunning places you will ever see in the world. We also took short hikes which allowed us to see the environment up close. From the river walks, to walks in the hills below mountains, it was all good. This was an amazing trip with a great company. AGAIN, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great - A long bouncy ride through wild & beautiful mountains. Sali Polotov in the Osh office was very helpful and friendly. Both drivers were great - good English, polite, considerate and helpful. Border crossings were easy and quick with the drivers assistance. Checkpoints for the GBAO permits were all handled by the driver. All accommodations were OK and food offerings at all stays were good. The trip is not a 5 star hotel but basic - adequate and OK - enjoy the wild beauty of the towering mountains. Most of the trip is bouncing along an improved goat path. People you meet all along the way were friendly and interested in the fool tourists. All in all, I loved the 13 days. Unforgettable journey - Great communication and a superb driver, Ibrahim, who took us a Pamir Adventure. Some very long days as the roads are often really bad but the views of the mountains make you easily forget this One of the world's best road journeys and Visit Alay made the whole trip easy.
