Superb, fun and insightful! Johnny is THE best! - Johnny did not disappoint on any level. He exceeded our expectations as he was genuinely interested in sharing stories and insights about the Durban of the past, present and future! His approach included walking; taking a local bus; a minivan; tasting food in local markets; interacting with shop owners; taking in panoramic views and engaging in questions about South Africa's apartheid and current society. At short notice, he coordinated a tour of the Sani Pass with an another operator which was an excellent adventure! We left behind our favourite coffee mug and he arranged for its return on our way to the airport! Johnny is THE best!

Good Tour in Durban - My friend and I just so happened to meet Johnny as he was picking up another guest from our hostel. He was kind enough to let us join his tour. It was a wonderful experience. We really got to see a different side of Durban and gain a better understanding of the history and culture. Johnny was very knowledgeable and guided our group through some interesting areas and delicious food items. He even helped us to get a ride from the tour straight to the airport. Would highly recommend for a good tour in Durban.

A Tour Like No Other! - This experience is like other. We got to explore places in Durban we would never see on our own. The tour included a unique view into the landscape, people and resourceful transportation in and around the neighborhoods, city, and Durban Beach. Johnny is a great guide! We tried new and unique food and had time to do some local shopping. I bought a beautiful skirt and love the looks on the faces of the people at our resort when they learned where I got it.

Fantastic Durban cultural tour! - Johnny was a fabulous guide. We learned the history, culture,politics of Durban while visiting neighborhoods,African markets, and tasting delicious African food that we wouldn't even know to order. We walked, we rode the local buses and we finished with a lunch of bunny chow on the beach The tour could not have been better! Highly recommend our guide Johnny and this tour!

Awesome experience! Very welcoming and well-planned - I couldn't have thought of a better first impression of Durban than what I got through Johnny! He has so many stories to tell and so much information about south africas politics, culture and people and he takes you to beautiful, authentic markets you'd probably never visit on your own. A slightly different walk through Durban - We traveled around Durban with Johnny on foot and by bus. He gave us a lot of information about the development of Durban and gave us interesting impressions. We would 100% recommend him.

Amazing experience at all levels - Amazing customer experience. I was very impressed by Johnny and Hanne, they provided me with an amazing customer service, they are very detail-oriented, responsive and kind, and thanks to them, my trip to the Drakensberg mountains, Lesotho and Durban was magical. A few days before my trip to Kwazulu-Natal, I asked them last minute if I could go to Drakensberg, Sani Pass and Lesotho and they organized a dream day trip with a very knowledgeable guide. Johnny adapted to all my last minute needs (airport pick up and drop off, and even a last minute detour to Pietermaritzburg to do a surprise visit to my mother's friend). Captivating visit of Durban with Johnny who gave me a detailed history of the city and took the time to show me the gorgeous botanical gardens, the city center, the markets and the seafront where we had a delicious lunch. Highly recommended at all levels. A million thanks to Johnny and Hanne, they are very talented and coordinated my trip so well since Day 1, they are real gems!

Truly Fantastic Tour - We really didn't know what to expect on this tour but we're pleasantly surprised because we got a true Culture Walking Tour! Johnny, our guide, was truly exceptional. He went to great lengths to explain the culture, the history, the politics and the current state of affairs. This information is definitely not what most tourist receive. We especially enjoyed him taking us to places that most tourists do not go. In fact, we didn't see another tourist for over 3 hours during one part of the tour. This is one of the best tours I've ever been on and I've traveled to over 40 countries.
