Loved it!! - We highly recommend Mountain Waters Rafting Tour! A do not miss experience if you visit Durango. We started the tour on a bus to the drop off location on the river. Kena did a great job schooling us up on white water rafting. She was funny, charming and very knowledgeable. Our boat guide, Axel, was the BEST! Besides knowing the river and rafting he had a lot of interesting history of the area to share. We hope to return to do it again with our grandchildren!

First-timer... GREAT intro to rafting. - Our bus ride up the canyon began with great intros by our two guides! Humor, fun & engaging safety briefing. I think the kid & I ended up with an excellent guide. She had just finished her studies as an Egyptologist. (Congratulations with all due.) I did have a bump into a rock on the trip, yet the advice of a snug foot by our adorable guide Kiki, kept me from a much more wet & raft-less ride down stream. Excellent for a beginners into rafting. Highly recommend their company!

Wonderful way to enjoy Colorado - Well organized, professional, kind guides, good instruction, beautiful scenery, few true rapids, may need to plan for earlier in the spring.

Family fun! - We had an excellent time! Our 8-year-old loved it, though we kept him paddle-less in the middle of the raft for safety much to his eternal disappointment. Jesse our guide was funny, informative, and conscientious. Would definitely do again.

Best experience on this trip! Highly recommend - The views were awesome! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. If you are lucky enough to get Ben then you are indeed in good hands. We got to "surf" and even get out and swim for a bit, cold but refreshing. Definitely will be back but for a longer trip! Highly recommend!! Kids 17 and 13 enjoyed so there ya go....

Lower Animas Family Trip - We did the family lower Animas rafting trip today and had a blast! We took our 4 and 9yr olds and it was super family friendly. Kina was a great guide and made sure we all had fun! Pirate Pete was definitely an honorable mention! All the guides were fun and attentive! It rained on us right as we reached the rapids which made it even more of an adventure! We will be back to use Mountain Waters Rafting again!

Great fun with grandkids !! - We chose Mountain Waters based on other reviews and my wife floated with this company 3 years ago . All the reviews for this company were amazing . The staff welcomed us and they were very nice . The time of day of this tour and the length was perfect for our 8 and 11 year old grand children. We were taken to our drop off point by Zach and Axel . They were both amazing . Zach was very light hearted but got the safety talk done . Once we were on the river, Zach was our raft leader but Axel was close to us with another family . Zach was amazing and had a great personality! He explained to us everything with rafting . Great guy and very knowledgeable about rafting . He was great to our grandkids . Once we stopped at some higher level of rapids and swam , Zach and Axel both were very attentive and joking with everybody . Great company! Anytime we are in Durango , we will go with Mountain Waters !! Thanks Zach and Axel!! You both made the trip amazing .

Rafting the Animas River - The Stu, the guide was great. The river was low and slow. Many rocks to maneuver around and few rapids. We also had to keep together with the group of rubber duckies so also was a negative in my opinion.
