Highlights
- K.P. Hole County Park - This is the county owned park that we will begin and end our tour at. You may use the amenities at this park after your tour. They have picnic tables, charcoal grills, and a swim area.
- Rainbow River - This 2 hours guided tour takes you along the crystalline waterways of the Rainbow River on our 100% clear paddle boards! We may encounter some of the local wildlife: birds, fish, otters, and more! Our tour will have the ability to hop out and enjoy the water a bit! Our all-clear paddle boards offer a unique experience when viewing the wildlife beneath you!
We begin the paddle at KP Hole Park and paddle north until we reach Indian River Creek. This shallow creek is a great spot to hop off and enjoy the water a bit. After stopping at Indian River Creek, we will continue heading upstream towards the Rainbow Springs Headsprings. During this part of the paddle, we have the potential to see a wide variety of wildlife and pass numerous springs on our way to the top of the river. After reaching the Rainbow Springs headsprings, we will start the paddle back downstream.

Additional Information
Our journey starts by moving upstream from where we set off. As we continue our paddling, we’ll encounter several freshwater springs, discover a picturesque clear creek, and take a pause to swim or snorkel in the Rainbow River. During our visit to the creek, you’ll get a chance to walk along the sandy creek bed and investigate sand boils that supply spring water to the river.
• Each group is intimate, not exceeding 10 individuals
• Comfortable kayak seats
• Clear kayaks that are kept clean and free from scratches
• All necessary gear for an enjoyable and safe kayaking adventure
- ALL KAYAKS ARE TANDEM and have a total maximum weight capacity of 425lbs, no more than 250lbs per seat. WEIGHT LIMITS ARE STRICTLY ENFORCED for the safety of guests and equipment.
- Weight restrictions strictly enforced for guest safety and equipment integrity.
- Guests should be aware of Florida’s heat; bring sufficient water and sun protection.
- Individuals with blood sugar issues should carry appropriate snacks or glucose supplements.
- All participants must have the physical ability to paddle for a minimum of 2 hours.
- Keep hydrated throughout the tour; drink water regularly.

Amazing day! - My wife and I took our family of 5. Even our 18 month old had a blast. Aly was an amazing tour guide. Very knowledgeable. She offered to take pictures of our family. She made everyone feel safe. We enjoyed our tour!

💯 Would recommend!! 🤩 - Josh was a great tour guide! He was very knowledgeable & showed us some beautiful, hidden spots we would have otherwise missed. We met a cute lil Otter searching for lunch in the Eelgrass 🥰 & saw various birds,
turtles & fish.
The turquoise springs are beyond beautiful, pics don’t do it justice! Lastly, the clear kayak is a must! I set my phone face down & hit record, the videos are amazing! We’ll definitely be back soon! Thanks again Josh! 😊

Absolutely Amazing and great company. - Absolutely amazing morning. Went in the 9am tour and had the river to ourselves and our guide Allie was awesome and very knowledgeable.
The company was amazing, I thought I booked to see manatees and booked the wrong river, they called a few days prior to make sure I didn’t want the other trip they changed it without a problem accommodate the change. 110% recommend the company and trip.

A hidden gem!!! - Aly with Ecoventure Tour was an amazing guide!! She is very knowledgeable about the history and wildlife of the river.
The pictures on the website are a soft touch to the actual beauty of this river!! You won’t regret your decision to do this excursion. It was so relaxing and refreshing! Getting out of your kayak in the designated swimming holes is highly recommended!! We will definitely do this again on our next visit to Florida. Thank you Aly for being so kind, caring and patient with us!!!

Best Clear Water Kayaking on the Planet - 10/10 Highly Recommend! Aly was the best tour guide ever! I loved kayaking in a clear boat so I could see the fish and river grass below.
We saw an otter, tons of neat birds, fishes, and ducks. It was so rad. Aly (our tour guide) was a wealth of information. I learned so much about the natural springs, fauna, fishes and fowl.
If you want a fun adventure, sign up. You'll love the part where you get to walk through the water. I know I did. I even got to help saw through a fallen tree. #instagramworthy
Oh, and Awesome Aly took really good pics for us and shared them free of charge. How cool is that?

Wonderful adventure on the way south! - My mother and I were driving back home from up north and decided to stop and explore what these crystal clear rivers were all about. Let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint!
We couldn’t have picked a better guide. Josh was helpful throughout the entire process. He was very knowledgeable of the area and knew exactly what to point out to us. The clear kayaks really pushed our adventure to the next level and everyone else on the water were jealous😎.
Highly recommended and hopefully we can come back in the winter to experience the manatees up at silver springs!
