Air Westward Ltd - Climb up to a height of one mile above the beautiful Devonshire countryside, on reaching this height we will stop the engine and peacefully glide back down to earth.
During this experience you will be able to receive some instruction from our fully qualified instructor and take control yourself if you wish.
This is a truly unique experience which only a motorglider can comfortably offer.

Additional Information
This journey delivers an entirely exceptional adventure. We will ascend utilizing our 80hp Rotax engine, scaling up to one mile above sea level. Upon reaching this height, gradual power reduction will be initiated, facilitating a gentle engine cooldown. Following approximately a minute of the cooling process, the engine will be switched off entirely, transforming us into a genuine glider with a glide ratio of 24 to 1. This will afford us a serene engineless flight for around 15-20 minutes or possibly longer should we encounter some thermals. Get ready to soar alongside the birds.

Incredible experience with a brilliant instructor! - Ian the instructor was incredibly friendly and made me feel at ease the entire time. The experience was very enjoyable and I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone. Ian navigated with confidence and took me on a beautiful scenic route.
