Great gardens - Easy to book on line at the door. Good value for money and a wide variety of plants from around the world, water features with terrapins and glasshouses. Well worth a visit if you like plants.

Relaxing walk - Had a fantastic time. The gardens are beautiful and unlike many other botanical gardens in that they have an extensive selection of trees. The volunteers are very knowledgable and helpful with information about the gardens. We'll worth a visit but best to make it a dry day. Great for all levels of activity due to its easy paths. Plenty of benches for a stop as well

University Parklands - An interesting garden to visit. Informative descriptions of plants. Parking easy. Toilets clean good cafe. Or just bring something and eat at the numerous benches. Well worth visiting even if you are not into plants. If wet there are large glasshouses to visit. View of airport in places.

A jewel of a garden - The dry stone walling, the wind chime, the sunning terrapins, the bridge, the fairy doors, a red squirrel feeding, oh and of course the plants! Can’t believe it’s only 50 years old

A wonderful wander - It was just a wonderful walk in the sunshine as I meandered from one zone to another. But I didn't have time to visit the glass house - so I will need to go back.

X - Botanic gardens in serious need of care and attention. Very expensive price for what we saw. Especially at this time of year where you would expect gardens to be in full bloom!
