The Split History & Nature Tour is an expedition where we’ll explore the city of Split and its renowned 1700-year-old Palace of the Roman emperor Diocletian. This palace has been recognized in UNESCO’s World Heritage for its significance as a unique structure from the late ancient architecture era. During this tour, you’ll get acquainted with the Peristyle (the main square within the palace), Saint Duje’s Cathedral (patron saint of Split), Diocletian’s mausoleum, Jupiter’s temple, Vestibul, Golden Gate, Diocletian’s subterranean vaults, waterfront, and other important historical and cultural landmarks of Split.
