- Old Town - We will first explore some of the main attractions, but soon we’ll go into the shadows of the small, back and narrow streets to talk about the dark past of Dubrovnik.
- The Franciscan Church and Monastery - You’ll hear stories from the past of the life of Little Friars of Dubrovnik and the ghosts of nuns from the former nunnery across the street before we slip away into the back streets of the old city.
- Rector’s Palace - After the exploration of the hidden nooks and crannies, we’ll emerge again into the openness of Stradun and end our tour in front of the elegant home of rectors from the past.

This guided walk navigates you through the city’s eerie history, providing you with a plethora of tales about the historic nightlife, its dance of death, ghost sightings, illicit romances, ancient beliefs in the supernatural, significance of cats, demonic entities, prison breakouts, tortures, and numerous other narratives to captivate your imagination.
Grasp the knowledge about the contagious diseases that were recurrent in Dubrovnik in the past, listen to the tale of Dubrovnik’s star-crossed lovers, unearth who the necromancers of Dubrovnik were, stick around to know about noble lineages and their sorrowful fates, and delve into the history of the old Pustijerna district, known as the barren land.
Come and discover the dimly-lit, slender, back alleys illuminated by nocturnal lanterns. Hopefully, you will be mesmerized by the beauty and charm that Dubrovnik exudes in the darkness.

An excellent and engaging tour of spooky Dubrovnik! - We enjoyed the haunted Dubrovnik tour with Marija very much. She is a talented storyteller and told us spooky stories with energy and passion. She was also able to provide a wealth of information on the history of the city and its residents in times past.

Great tour & guide!!! - Marija is wonderful! Her stories are rooted in historical evidence, making them believable and genuinely interesting. When something is far fetched, she acknowledges such which allows you to appreciate the folklore of it instead of feigning intrigue. This is one of the best tours we have had and would definitely book again!

Top Recommend for Dubrovnik - Marija is a great tour guide, wonderful storyteller, and a really kind soul! This tour is exactly how it should be, a mix of history and some macabre topics. I would highly recommend this tour!

Top tour - would recommend. - Marija was a great guide - lots of great stories with a mix of history and the supernatural. Took us to lots of the city we wouldn't otherwise have seen and pointed out lots you would otherwise miss. Clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. Would definitely recommend.

A fun way to learn about Dubrovnik's spooky history! - We had the best experience with Marija. She shared a wealth of knowledge of Dubrovnik, and we learnt so much. Her stories were captivating and entertaining, and she was very good at creating a spooky atmosphere whilst also keeping it quite light hearted. We delved into quite a few of the smaller alleyways which were brought to life by Marija's amazing story telling. She even showed us interesting places to eat and drink along the way which we would not otherwise have discovered by ourselves. Would highly recommend this tour to learn more about Dubrovnik and for a fun spooky time.

Atmospheric and informative - Really enjoyed this tour. The guide was excellent. Was very atmospheric, informative & interesting. A great way of seeing the Old Town and learning about its history and some of the darker sides. Also was a bit cooler than during the day which was good although still quite hot.

beyond worth it! - Marija is amazing! The way she tells the stories of the old town truly transports you. My friend and I happened to have a private tour with her and it managed to thoroughly gives us the creeps whilst painting an interesting picture of the history of Dubrovnik. Visit the area and definitely book the tour if you’re a fan of history and ghouls!!! It will not disappoint!!

DARK + HISTORY + HIDDEN LANDMARKS - Amazing, guide Maria mixed history, dark fantasy and revealed a few landmarks hidden to the tourist eye along the way. Also Dubrovnik in the evening is amazing by itself, especially with a guide.

Cancelled on me - Cancelled on me just a couple hours before tour was to begin. That leaves no time to seek out other options. I don't particularly like rolling the dice with a chunk of valuable vacation time
