We commence our journey from Pile Bay, a tiny harbor under the St. Lawrence fort (known to Game of Thrones fans as Blackwater Bay). Fear not if you are a kayaking novice, we provide comprehensive briefing before embarking. As we paddle around Lokrum Island, you’ll witness the breathtaking beauty of the Adriatic Sea. Frequent rest stops along the way give the guides an opportunity to share tales of Dubrovnik Republic’s history, the fight for independence, the city walls, and more. At some point, we’ll pause at Betina cave for half an hour, which offers you a chance to use the snorkeling equipment and explore the marine life beneath the sea surface. If you’re up to the challenge, why not engage in some cliff jumping? As we paddle back along Dubrovnik’s coastline, you’ll make unforgettable memories which will be etched in your hearts for years to come.

Amazing Experience - This was an amazing experience and a workout. Our tour guides were knowledgeable and gave such great information on the history of Dubrovnik. The caves and beach were fun to visit also. A must do to see the city from a different point of view.

Great experience, well worth it! - This experience was excellent and well worth it! The views and stop offs were great. Ari was a great guide, very knowledgeable and made the experience a good laugh! He deserves extra credit for basically dragging one couple on the trip all the way back!

Highly recommendable - Ari was a super kayak guide. He told us a bit of the history and pointed out and described the route. He was also very fun. Tour was enjoyable. We went all around the island near Dubrovnik and saw a lovely cave where we had a little stop for photos. We had lovely views of the Old town and walls on our way and we also had a stop at a beach for some refuelling, a rest and a swim. All in all would highly recommend. Thank you Ari once more :)

Surprisingly beautiful and sporty activity - This was the highlight of our trip to Dubrovnik. Kayaking and snorkeling was really fun to do. In the beginning when crossing the water to Lokrum it was a bit difficult. Never kayaked before and mastering the right rhythm took a while. And there was current and wind that made rowing quite challenging. At Lokrum we came to a small beach and got a snorkel. I had few expectations about snorkeling, but the sea was full of fox fish! Some are as large as 15cm. Like swimming in Artis. Then we continued to Betina Cave beach, where we could snorkel and swim again. Very beautiful here too. Then we went back. All in all 5km rowed and 3 hours on the road. The guide also offered an adventurous option halfway through without snorkeling, but around the whole of Lokrum. It was 9 km and I think it was too heavy. Fortunately, the group was unanimous in favor of the snorkeling variant. Wouldn't have wanted to miss it! Tips: Do not take clothes with you in the kayak. Just put on your bikini or swimming trunks. It does get wet on board. And apply sunscreen. Water shoes are not an unnecessary luxury and we would also have found a towel useful. The guide told us some history along the way. Highly recommended!

Edin had fantastic information - We did not expect to receive as much information about Dubrovnik and Lokrum island as Edin gave us! He was knowledgeable and very attentive to our group.

Ask for Ari - A lot of fun kayaking to Lokrum Island and around Dubrovnik. Saw a lot of other groups and we definitely think we had the best guide who made us feel welcome and safe. Ask for Ari, and ask him some questions about Dubrovnik's history!

Incomplete trip. Cheap version of "snorkeling". - Very windy the morning we went out. The result was that the trip was cut short, without circling the island, or at least paddling to the north west side where there were some of the more interesting rock formations. Maybe it would be better to start a little later when the winds die down. Also, their description of the tour mentioned "snorkeling", but they provided only a mask - no blow tube. Another group that we ran into had blow tubes.
